06.01.2022 What did you do today? Tiled the roof of a 55 metre tower in the shape of a witches hat. The original plans for the Mitchelton winery, cellar door and tower were drawn by Robin Boyd CBE, one of the country’s most renowned architects. Following Boyd’s death in 1971, the equally admired Australian architect Ted Ashton completed the design before the official opening with great fanfare in 1974. ...
