24.01.2022 COVID-19 has challenged our community and the impacts will be long-lasting. At a time where we need to be coming together and staying healthy. I was concerned to hear that Richmond FC has withdrawn its women’s team from the VFLW for the 2021 Season. After talks with members of the community who brought this issue to my attention, I feel this decision was not made in the best interest of women and demonstrates a lack of commitment at Richmond F.C. towards women’s football. Add...itionally, my conversations with members raise concern around the management of making this matter public.
