19.01.2022 Magnificent display of Drumsticks (Pycnosorus globosus) at the moment in Terrick Terrick NP Piggery grassland on the Patho plains. The season must have been just right for them, and the dense flowering stretched for over one hundred acres.

17.01.2022 *Streamliners under the stars* Tonight after work, I ventured to Mitiamo to get some night photos of SSR'S 9094 Up Grain from Mitiamo to Kensington Mill, featur...ing veteran Streamliner locomotives S317 and S312. The train came down in the early hours of this morning, and loaded during the day. When I arrived the locos had just detached from one half of their rake, and ran around to hook up to the second half which they then moved forward. Once shunting was complete, S317 and S312 were shutdown until their departure sometime later. I stayed behind the fence line which worked in my favour, having not taken my tripod with me. So with some McGyver ideas, I made it work. There was a driveway access to get closer to the locos, but to avoid trespassing I decided against it.

Together with Pa...rks Victoria and volunteers, we have conducted surveys with expert birder Chris Tzaros and found more than 50 bird species Our officers have also conducted workshops for Friends of Terrick Terrick National Park to help volunteers hone their birding skills in this unique spot. #BiodiversityMonth

12.01.2022 So last night I took a random drive to Mitiamo to shoot a silo I found after another random trip a couple of months ago. Multiple shots were taken, but none end...ed up good enough for me. So this is just one i picked and somehow tried to make something of it. Think i need to go back and learn to take photos again.
