25.01.2022 Couldn't be there in person, but today PAX is running our Display Control app to cast competition timetables. Apparently it's working well! :D Thanks to Mishka Kent for the photo.

25.01.2022 Open Question! Network Audio Cable is currently the extent of our audio streaming software. It takes audio from one computer and plays it on another. The unique selling point is they both stay in sync with minimal lag. We were thinking of expanding it. One idea was to implement a routing grid, similar to Display Control, or actually integrate it *into* Display Control: http://www.mixav.com.au... If you can see yourself using something like this -- how would you use it? What would you use it for? Is the routing grid confusing? Would you prefer a simpler design? Would you prefer an all-in-one solution that does both audio and screen mirroring?

25.01.2022 The routing matrix from Display Control (2016).

22.01.2022 Successfully streaming desktops to browsers :)

21.01.2022 Full motion video in the browser! Woohoo.

15.01.2022 Looks like our Departure Board will be used at PAX AUS again this year :)

15.01.2022 Interesting tool! http://source-elements.com/products/source-live

15.01.2022 Apparently these guys are making waves in conferencing AV with software that interoperates with Skype, Cisco VoIP and just about everything else. Pretty cool.

14.01.2022 We've been working on a modification to Display Control that allows it to work over IPv6 (Getting with the times, right?). Early signs are looking pretty good!

12.01.2022 (Work in progress) More modern, more customizable, more flexible. Lots of potential in this new design.

12.01.2022 The routing matrix for video on a sample network from the "Big" build (2014).

11.01.2022 Interesting product idea!

07.01.2022 This was the first working demo I created of MixAV. Despite the extensive menubar all that worked was video (and the "Dubstep Button").

06.01.2022 Holy wow, .NET has come a long way since this project started. Much more powerful tools to work with now.

05.01.2022 Very cool! NDI is a new standard for linking audio and video streams across software and hardware over a network in real time. And best of all, it's an open standard! We're super interested in integrating this into MixAV. This would mean being able to seamlessly interoperate with a wide range of endpoints.

04.01.2022 Beginning the transition to SwarmLib-based networking. This will be gradually integrated with Display Control and the Departure Board in a non-destructive fashion.

04.01.2022 We've added the ability to automatically start and stop recording when AudioScrape detects sounds. :)

02.01.2022 Tidying up browser streaming performance. It's still not quite up to the standard of realtime video applications, but for signage it's more than enough.

02.01.2022 We're working on integrating MixAV with a new piece of distributed technology being built for Dimension P2P. This means development will be resuming once the P2P core is fully operational.

01.01.2022 That's the MixAV Departure Board displaying a timetable at CouchWarriors BAM 10 this weekend! :)
