19.01.2022 Oh my goodness. Jo Whitton's (Quirky Cooking) tomato sauce (ketchup) recipe is amazing and so easy in Thermie.

19.01.2022 Today I bought 10kg of tomatoes so far I have made tomato relish from my mother in laws recipe, so much easier to chop onions in Thermie and then just put the rest of the ingredients in and set it for 40 minutes at Varoma temp with the simmering basket on top and pour directly from the bowl into warmed jars. Yummy and much less messy than stovetop. Also made pasta sauce to store away for a rainy day. More to do tomorrow as I now have butter chicken cooking with roti and rice. All done in Thermie. Love it.

10.01.2022 My cooking in Thermie today. Butter, red and green shortbread, rosemary salt, brown sugar spice rub, porcini mushroom salt, chicken rub, my first successful sponge cake (oh so light), tablet ( memories from my childhood). So good to be able to cook all this so easily.
