23.01.2022 A huge welcome to my new followers I'm Lily and I'm a Thermomix Consultant from a small rural town in Far North Queensland called Tully. Thanks to the Thermomix in Australia business, I am able to be a stay at home mum while still earning an income. My husband is a seasonal worker which means he doesn't always have permanent work. 22.01.2022 I love that my Thermomix makes me get out of my comfort zone and try new things. Here is a Wonton Soup I made at a virtual cooking experience a few weeks back. This recipe is from the Matt Sinclair collection on Cookidoo. While the broth reduces in the mixing bowl, the wontons steam above in the varoma. I literally watched a YouTube video on folding wontons 10 minutes before I jumped on the demo! 21.01.2022 YOGHURT MAKING TIP Do you have milk that's about to expire? Turn it into yoghurt with the TM6 fermentation mode!... Within the Thermomix yoghurt making process, the milk is initially heated to 80C then is left to cool down to room temperature. This initial heating process kills any bad bacteria and basically "extends" the expiration date. Your yoghurt will last up to 2 weeks as usual. 16.01.2022 Eli and I did a little bit of experimenting today with the 30 second whole orange cake recipe. We converted it to muffins and used Stevia (due to the high content of sugar). They were a little bitter from the orange peel but we topped them with some sweet icing. Check out what little mess we made with the use of our cupcake pen! ... And look at how easy the muffins came out of the muffin tray! No greasing required! 11.01.2022 EASY PEASY CHICKEN JALFREZI I forgot how delicious @skinnymixer Chicken Jalfrezi was literally takes 20 minutes to make! I made my rice first using the rice cooker mode on my TM6 and transfered it to a Thermoserver to keep it nice and warm until the Chicken Jalfrezi was ready. 08.01.2022 THANK YOU to those who tuned in to my "Wholesome Yums for Tiny Tums" cooking class last night. It didn't go exactly how I planned as my little guy is teething so I had him on my hip 90% of the time. My kitchen was transformed into a play pen for an hour! Any other night he is in bed at 6:30/7:00. Typical Nonetheless I was able to demonstrate a Pumpkin Chicken Puree and Cheesy Tomato Rissotto from Louise Keats Wholefood Child while my little helper gnawed on a banana te...ething rusk from Recipe Community.
