21.01.2022 Sensei Ari had a great session with the Nestle In Goonellabah kids doing Stranger Danger strategies for the transitioning kids into kindy. Keeping kids safe is our priority and being able to share our knowledge in the community is what we are all about.

10.01.2022 Attention all students. This Monday 29th of March is kickin’ it for Koalas day. Starting at 4:30pm for all students from the ages of 4-13 years old. At 5:30 we will have a special presentation from Friends of the Koala Inc. finishing at 6pm. Please wear your grey belts to spread awareness about the risk of loosing our national icon to the destruction of their habitat either from human encroachment or from climate change such as bush fires. Belts can still be purchased on the ...day for $20. All proceeds to go to friends of koalas. 06.01.2022 Just a reminder that there is no karate on Monday the 14th due to the long weekend. We hope everyone has a great weekend. Shihan will here Wednesday to teach classes on the 16th and gradings Friday 18th.



02.01.2022 To all the members and students. During the Second week of school holidays we will run Monday 12th as per normal due to loosing a day for Easter Monday public holiday. There will be no classes on Wednesday the 14th or Friday the 16th. We also want to wish our competitors travelling to Sydney for the Australian Open championships on the 16th-18th of April the best of luck and to represent Miyagi Kan with the highest level of respect and sportsmanship, no matter the result.
