12.01.2022 2020 - a year like no other but at MJ we have worked extra hard to give our competition dancers as many experiences as we could. As always this year, we are very grateful for any opportunity for our kids to dance. It wasn’t easy and without our amazing team of teachers, dedicated students and supportive parents we would not have succeeded. A troupe competition , soloists prepared for competitions , exams , a chance to dance on our local beautiful theatre stage . Last Saturday we had our very first solo/ troupe display at the Sir Robert Helpmann. Such a positive day, we all loved it and have decided to make it an annual event. Below is a photo of some of our junior soloists Rosie, Sophia and Naevah watching on. It was such a supportive day with everyone enjoying each other’s performances.

08.01.2022 I hope everyone is ok today with our first lockdown day. Have seen some wonderful innovative parents who are keeping their kids busy. Lots of Christmas trees going up- yes mine is up but I have to confess it has been up for a week. If you feel you can, we would love for you to practise our concert routines during this time. Send me footage of you practising and the most creative videos will win some cool prizes. Inbox me via this page or your group page.... My day - spent in the garden until it got too hot and then binge watching ‘ the crown’. Back to work tomorrow though as I have solo music to find, bookwork ( always seems to be endless bookwork) and a few costume accessories to finalise for the concert ( still hoping they will go ahead ).
