25.01.2022 Don’t DIY sand flooring only ends bad

18.01.2022 Hired a awesome scrubber vac used hot water and a neutral detergent to clean off the tannins. This is as I walked away straight after rolling the coat on. Will settle as a satin finish. Also this was installed by M&J

06.01.2022 QLD SPOTTED GUM! Beautiful timber but sometimes has a issue of the natural tannins bleeding through the coats. Can’t just cut it back and coat it because that causes more issues.... Waiting for the coat to dry 100% to lock the tannins in then washing it down a couple of times to clean it off. Then your ok to cut it back with a 180g on the buffer then a decent vac and re-coat. Time consuming and a pain especially on jobs out of town but timber is timber it will carry on some times. I’ll share pics of it just after cleaning and coat.
