22.01.2022 The famous Blairmore Homestead a popular spot amongst photographers and tourists to capture the poplar lined driveway in Autumn. 22.01.2022 Good Morning, Danny from Ketley Photography and I went for a little drive yesterday down into Northern NSW and managed to score a couple of CG's each, from just south of Kyogle. Both these images are 2X 0.4sec exposures blended together. Would be great to get at least one more chase in before we start heading south again for Autumn and Astro photography. 21.01.2022 This afternoon I got to join in the festivities on the Gold Coast to watch a small part of the QBR (Queen's Baton Relay) from my hometown in Nerang. The atmosphere was alive and I managed to be in the right spot to capture the baton being handed over to Bridge Daley from 92.5 Gold FM.. Here a few shots from the changeover Cheers Chelle Gold 92.5
21.01.2022 "Lost In Time" From the air I managed to capture part of the Great Northern Railway line to Glen Innes, which is now just a part of the beautiful landscape down there, left to slowly deteriorate as the years pass.. Taken on the mavic pro on a section of line with a beautiful bridge and a crystal clear stream running through. I enjoy being able to get a different perspective that what I can normally get just from my camera.. Please feel free to share and I hope you enjoy a bri...ef history about this railway line Cheers Chelle A brief history: The Grand opening was held for this extension from Armidale to Glen Innes on the19th August 1884. The town grew in size due to mining and the rail line and within 2 years the next extension was built from Glen Innes to Tenterfield. The Great Northern Line was known as the main line to Brisbane with changing at the border town of Wallangarra until the North Coast railway line was built all the way to the Queensland border via the the semi coastal Casino in the early 1930's. The GNR was a great asset during WW2 because being inland it was secure from sea attacks and moved many military and items up the coast.. The NSW government in 1988 decided to remove all rail services to the Northern Tablelands and cut back these services to terminate at Tamworth instead.. This has sadly seen a lot of the GNR become an uncared and pretty much abandoned section. Passenger trains and goods trains serviced Glen Innes for 104 years until the NSW Government deemed the service no longer viable. Now it's just a distant memory to those who once saw it in action. Just another reason to check out this area. Destination Glen Innes Glen Innes Highlands Glen Innes Examiner Rest Point Group Visit NSW Australia.com DJI Australia and New Zealand #NewSouthWales

17.01.2022 Well it's certainly been a quiet time for me recently on the photo front. But I was booted into gear last weekend by a voice in my head who yelled at me ("Chelle get your ass out there right now") and try for a sunset. 16.01.2022 **Everyone needs a little love in their life** The iconic spot of *Heart Reef* inside the larger Hardy's Reef in the Whitsundays was definitely on my bucket list on our family holiday to Airlie Beach. 15.01.2022 "The power of the ocean amazes me. Water is one incredible element not to be messed with but respected and enjoyed." Good Evening everyone, My partner Danny from Ketley Photography and I spent the Easter long weekend in his hometown of Nelson Bay in the beautiful Port Stephens area NSW. We spent a few mornings with some local photographers Serena Birubi Images, Mick Stubbs, Shane Shanerussellphotography, Samuel Chew and this particular morning, climbed down the rocks at B...oat Harbour to a place aptly named The Ledge to shoot the morning waves and back splashes. 13.01.2022 Hello everyone, yes I'm still around the traps. It seems like forever between posts and with a dismal storm season at least we had a cyclone in near vicinity the last week. So I dusted off the camera and headed to Snapper Rocks at 3.30am Saturday morning. Now I had some pics in mind as I knew all the surfers would be at Kirra so wanted too capture the actual beauty and shapes that these enormous waves were producing and some great morning light in between the dark passing cl...ouds. 6 and a half hours I shot, met a great older photographer who was shooting on a Leica medium format camera (yes I drooled a little ) lol. Anyway I walked away just on high tide and have finally sorted through the unique images and culled them down to the following pics. I really hope you enjoy my perspective and the images I created. Would really like to know which one is your favourite. Have a great week ahead Cheers Chelle See more

11.01.2022 Good evening everyone, Please excuse the lack of recent posts.. Life and work tends to get away from us all sometimes but there was no way I was missing heading to the Glen this weekend for some Autumn love. Glen Innes in the New England Highlands is always a favourite spot of ours during Autumn and Winter for photography. This weekend they hosted the annual Celtic festival and the town was alive with activities. We took off early Sunday morning before light towards Stonehen...ge about 5km south of Glen Innes.. This is def a fav place of mine, The natural granite stone formations and the stunning poplars and maple trees are just coming alive right now.. Tiny bunny's jump in front of us as we made our way in and a light frost covered the ground. We waited for the sun to come over the horizon and just light the trees up nicely, casting a golden glow over the landscape. This was taken with the DJI Mavic pro drone. The first of several images I will share with you.. I hope you enjoy this image and feel free to hit the share button and spread the love. How does Autumn make you feel? 11.01.2022 Good evening everyone, Yes it's been a while between posts for me but Danny and I managed to head south again over the weekend for another Astro night... We woke up to -9.3 on Saturday morning in Glen Innes and headed out for some frost pictures and to do some scouting for that night. We met a local farmer from Amos-Vale Herefords who had this great old car on his property and was kind enough to let us shoot it that night.. We tried to do a little research into the ute itself... and turns out it was made by The Standard Motor Co and is called a Vanguard. I'm not sure what year model it is but it made the perfect foreground for something little different.. A huge thankyou to Mark for allowing us to use his property and to The Rest Point Motel for having us and making sure our electric blankets and heater were turned on when we arrived.. 09.01.2022 Good Morning everyone, Well I managed to dust off the camera yesterday for the first time in a couple of months and headed out for a short little storm chase, It wasn't the best set up but came across a nasty storm in Beaudesert on my way home.. I headed north to get in front of it and then down a dead end road where I knew I was not going to be in the direct line of the hail that dumped down.. This is a 7 image stitch of where we ended up, looking south east towards Beaudese...rt of the cell that went through.. Earlier my daughter and I caught up with Nettie from FRAMED FOREVER FOTOS and her kids in Kalbar, was so good to be back out with my chase friend and look forward to catching up for more fun this season.. 07.01.2022 "Starry Nights" Now this is what I have been waiting for since last Astro season. To get out in clear, dark skies, away from people and just be at one with the night.. We headed to Tenterfield NSW and found a whole new place to explore on Saturday night. Filled with amazing Granite boulders for km's. It's truly amazing just how dark it is and how bright the stars are. I'm so impressed with the whole New England region and what it has to offer photography wise. This image was... taken approx. 9:30pm as the Milky Way core was well and truly up over the horizon. If you look closely you can see one of the Magellanic Clouds as well to the lower right of the image. I just want to take this opportunity as well to thank all my followers new and old who have supported my photography over the years..
