20.01.2022 Jordyn Purchases a New Car Jordyn came to us in December last year wanting help to finance her new car purchase. Initially we wanted to get the application organized for Jordyn to pick up the car quite quickly but due to covid impacting car supplies in Australia, this was delayed, and she had to wait patiently for 6 months for the car to arrive. 19.01.2022 Restructuring & Refinancing with Fredo Fredo contacted us with a plan to refinance and restructure his home loan so it reflected his current situation. We were able to get him in contact with one of our trusted Conveyancers to help with the restructure as well as refinancing to a bank with a much lower interest rate. 19.01.2022 *NEWS* The federal government has extended the deadline to begin construction under the HomeBuilder grants program by an additional 12 months. 15.01.2022 We are excited to see both Jackson & Alexandra moving into their new home! We met up with Alex & Jackson in May 2020 as they first embarked on their journey to build their first home. It is now June 2021 and they have just moved into their new place, and we are absolutely stoked that we were able to make another young couples dreams come true! Building can be a long-drawn-out process, in this case 12 months but we were able to guide Alex and Jackson through paperwork, appl...ications and never-ending questions from the bank and builders. Due to COVID we had to navigate a completely contactless process. We caught up in the beginning to answer all questions about the process and any concerns from the family but moving forwards were able to complete everything over phone and email. We were able to take advantage of multiple First Home Buyers grants on offer including the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme meaning they would pay no Lenders Mortgage Insurance and receive a rate of 2.99% with a minimum deposit. 13.01.2022 Congratulations Sam Wyatt and Tommy Wyatt on beginning to build their first home When brothers Tom and Sam came to us, they had already invested in a block of land which was due to title in a few months. They were still in the process of finalising the construction documents but wanted help gaining finance to build their home. After running through their situation, we were able to map out a plan of when we would need to put the application in to meet the finance clause a...nd maximise their eligibility for the grants on offer. As a First Home Buyer who met all the requirements, they were eligible for the $20,000 First Home Owners Grant, and for the $25,000 New Home Builders Grant along with paying no stamp duty. 10.01.2022 Congratulations to Lucas Ligt and Jess on buying their first home! Lucas and Jess came to us for help when buying their first home. Hearing about all these new government grants and concessions that first home buyers are eligible for, they got in contact with us to lock in a spot on some of the schemes. We straight away set about working through their borrowing capacity and different lending options together giving them a budget on their maximum purchase price. We had ...to consider that Lucas is self-employed and they needed a bank that offered First Home Loan Deposit Scheme (FHLDS) spots while trying to find the lowest interest rate available. Once we had settled on the best lender we begun the application to make sure they secured a place on the FHLDS which allowed them to pay no Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI). In the 3 months that they had their pre-approval in place, this home popped up for them and they were able to make an offer confidently knowing their finances were organised. 05.01.2022 FHLDS (New Homes) extended for 2021-22 An additional 10,000 FHLDS (New Homes) places will be available from 1 July 2021 to 30 June 2022. Family Home Guarantee The Australian Government has announced a new program called the Family Home Guarantee, which provides eligible single parents with dependants the opportunity to build a new home or purchase an existing home with a deposit of 2 per cent, subject to the individual’s ability to service a home loan.... 03.01.2022 Congratulations Lewy on moving into your new home! Building a house can be stressful, especially when you have never done it before! Lewis first got in contact with us in early July 2019 with the dream to build his first home. It is now May 2021, and he has just moved into the new fortress and we are so proud to have guided him through the paperwork and the banks every demand to get him to where he is today. ... Just like any new home buyer we went through his situation, what he wanted to achieve and completed an assessment of how much he could borrow. From there it was time to start looking for some land and a house that he wanted to build. We were able to liaise with his builder from the start to ensure everything was structured in his favour. This included negotiating when his deposits would be required and answering any questions the builders had to save Lewis the hassle. Fortunately, we also were able to maximise his eligibility for the grants on offer and the rest is history! We have been working with the couple for several months while they were searching for the perfect spot to live out the next stages of their lives. Fortunately for them they managed to find a little gem of a spot in a completely different part of the world to where they were first lo...oking.
