23.01.2022 With our housing crisis only worsening, I've had enquiries about what people in the community can do to help. For the next few weeks I'll be collecting new wint...er woolies such as socks, beanies, gloves, coats and blankets for Nova for Women and Children: Homelessness and Domestic Violence Service, Jenny's Place Domestic Violence & Homelessness Service and the Matthew Talbot Homeless Service. Additionally, Matthew Talbot are seeking men's shoes. It may seem like a small gesture in the big scheme of things, but these items are useful for people without housing, as well those who have secured a place but it may be cold and draughty. Donations can be dropped off at my office at 414 Hunter Street, Newcastle (opposite the Civic Theatre) between 9am and 4.30pm on weekdays.

Our internal dialogue has much to say. 17.01.2022 Hey Folks, how was your extended weekend? I’m well rested #whatdayisit it’s been 4 weeks since I broke my fibula and made by the universe to sit my ass down and rest. I stopped drinking wine that day because of the pain killers in the beginning but and also safety first!!. It wasn’t that hard at all for me #thumbsup . My daughter told me if I didn’t have the sweats I was not an alcoholic.. phew! Although there are the occasional hormone sweats which I’ll say is for sure... #menopause . I’ve also given up sugar in my tea + coffee, I know stop right!!! and that has been a shitty shake up #forreal there’s been no sugar high to get the day going and no wine to wind the day down, and if I’m honest I was worried I’d slid slowly into a hole of despair with this leg and my lack of mobility BUT I haven’t and I’m happy about that, SO let’s cheers to that shall we #wineoclock #cheers #weekends #brokenleg #wellrested See more

I’m not referring to always being smiley happy positive either, I’m referring to how you stop the flow of the positive energy you feel. You may know it as the time when everything is going good and then it all of a sudden goes to shit and you hear yourself saying, this always happens to me! When you are in the flow, in the joy and then you’re not, what happens for you? ... It’s something to ponder Darlings, I’m knee deep in this learning right now and it is powerful stuff. I along with some other brave humans have committed to a one year container of truth with Janne Robinson and we are having our minds blown! 11.01.2022 I’ve been on retreat, Mandy’s Retreat, up in the mountains marinating under the stars down by the river in all the Magic of the forest 12 days of Nature, Nurtures. I feel renewed. It was nice to get back on my bike again, and I am taking it nice and easy, although my leg bone has healed my ankle hasn’t fully recovered yet. All the river rock hopping I did was a workout. Nature is magic and medicine. Whenever I am feeling stuck or overwhelmed I head for the mountains. I head for the trees!! I’m feeling a strong desire to host a retreat in 2021, by a river in the mountains nurtured by nature and each other. Would you be interested?
