The changes to education and training standards, reflect community expectations that the provision of professional advice be centred on serving the best interests of the client free from any conflict. I sat the exam in December and today received the results showing that I passed, along with all o...ther members of our team. Im happy now to focus on our clients and those new people that want a clear plan for their future!

08.01.2022 Recently a client of our practice was faced with news of having a tumour which needed removing. Within a 5 month period, he has undergone successful surgery to remove the tumour and to date, has had 2 months off work. Thankfully he had taken our advice and had appropriate Income Protection insurance through AMP and Critical Illness Insurance (also known as Trauma insurance) through AIA, so $250,000 has been paid to his bank account this week. We also helped with managing the ...claim. This has allowed him to meet out of pocket medical costs and minimise the impact financially to himself and his family, so he can focus on his recovery. One of the most valuable benefits of talking to a financial planner is to tailor insurances to your personal circumstances. Many people that come to see us are not aware of trauma insurance and how it can make a difference to their family in a time of concern.

We are working with a new client who has just consolidated there super before seeing us. Sadly they have now lost the cover and given there health situation may be unable to apply for new insurance, which they actually need. Before consolidating super, please spk with a Financial Planner to ensure you are aware the risks of what you are considering doing.
