12.01.2022 For those interested in purchasing a property after the 1st of August 2016, the following might be of interest to you: PSBA Regulation changes to start 1 August Changes to the Property, Stock and Business Agents Regulation 2014 are expected to commence 1 August 2016. If an agent becomes aware of a physical inspection report of a residential property they are selling, or an inspection of its owners corporation records, they must make a written record of those reports and disclose them to anyone requesting a copy of the sale contract. Further, under s33A(4)(e), a record must contain whether the person who prepared the report is insured under a policy of professional indemnity insurance.
