20.01.2022 Another week down , another big deck well under way , Big thanks to the team for putting in the hard yards With the current weather. Black butt timber and frameless glass balustrade will finish this one off nicely .

20.01.2022 ‘Owner builders ‘ It’s often used as a loop hole for building using unlicensed or under licenced trades , it it’s more commonly used by home owners to ‘have a crack ‘ and save some money . This deck was to be a facelift and refresh but has turned out a full rebuild due to terrible building practices . What you think might be expensive today could save you doing it all again by trying to DIY or use the cheapest price you can get . ... I love the 19mm joist in broken bits of fibro sheeting ... We will be replacing this wizardry with H4 low deck and budget conscious treated pine that will see this one last more than 3 years

20.01.2022 @millboard_decking @midcoast_timber_centres @deckingsydney thanks for the advice on our first millboard job , mixed feelings as an install point of view,but the longetivity of the product and feel underfoot is pretty unique . With more and more options on the market this one is certainly not the cheapest but when installed correctly is going to outlast any timber deck with minimal maintenance ( periodic cleaning and care ). Just because it's a truss roof , internal walls can are are still load bearing in some circumstances. If you are wanting to undertake a similiar project please engage qualified advice first !

14.01.2022 Even the most complex sites can have an amazing spa area , With the stair hand rail and some fence paneling to be installed , this area is completed by the team at MJ renovations . The timber used is Black butt and the structure is premium duragal flooring system which we recommend and prefer .
