24.01.2022 Its always difficult to time a holiday away from your business as you will upset somebody lol But everyone needs a recharge and some quality downtime My time away the past three weeks has been busy but exciting new places new culture. Its now Saturday afternoon in Bali and l return Tommow evening and arrive Melbourne Monday 7.30 am . ... The salon is open Tuesday the 13th of Feb at 9am Look forward to catching up with everyone . 23.01.2022 Corona Virus is nasty it’s created a world crisis like we have never seen before , we as the recipients of this intruder have to learn to adapt to living our lives differently. As a hairdresser lm seeing lots of uncertainty and worried people daily ,all dealing with it in their own way . Businesses all around me closing their doors , putting off staff and shelving their livelihood and it may get worse. Yes lm still trading , lm seeing one client per hour , my shop is clean ...there is hand protection sanitizer and l wear a mask . There isn’t a policy for this crisis it seems to change by the hour , we can only do all the little things correctly and follow the rules of each stage . Just how long l will be open is all guess work , but lf l can make clients feel better through all this l will just be available until lm advised to close. Stay safe everyone Michael Mjs

23.01.2022 Seven days to go and we are off to Bali thi Monday the 14th, so if anyone needs their hair refreshed before this weekend call me this week and l will make sure its gets done . 19.01.2022 Tecoma is buzzing and its getting harder to find a carpark, The new shops create freshness and variety Which has been lacking in Tecoma for such a long time . I like the feeling , seeing new faces and most of the shops looking clean and fresh , Id love to see Bontons and our fish and chip shop get a facelift , sadly when you see a tired shop it dosnt look inviting. ... 19.01.2022 Had some quality time today with My good friend Karen, its been 5 months And needing some TLC MASSIVE regrowth And old foils needing a refresh. Karen's wanting to keep the lenght and try for... More body in her very soft fine hair. Roots and greys done, we added some gentle Highlights and very happy with the creamy foils. 16.01.2022 It will be a mad 4 weeks till Christmas, every year theres this crazy rush to get things finished Of course we always cram way in way to much So little time to complete everything. The shopping although important takes second place to being busy and you can only do so much at work , l know l will be doing my Christmas shopping mostly late night after work. The decorations are out but not up as yet,... Love doing that it really gives you a good sense of chrissy spirit, to see the look on the little ones faces when they come in for a trim is priceless. 13.01.2022 You may have noticed my Salon is closed , while on holidays l managed to get viral Arthritis invade my body, where from is anyones guess mosquitoes are the prime cause, the symptoms are redness and swelling from head to toe and all your joints aching. 11.01.2022 Watching 60 Minutes tonight really brought home how important it is for every individual to practice ( SAFE ) in Australia Looking at the list of Businesses that are effected by this nasty Virus, l feel blessed that hairdressing at the moment is still ok. Even so l will be doing all l can to ensure that all is spotless and clean , rarely do l have more than two clients at one time and it is a very spacious Salon . Because of the nature of this new Virus The rules are changing daily, just how long public businesses can remain open is pure guesswork. 11.01.2022 My friend Zane thought it was time for a change and went the whole way today, Not a real fan of the super shaved look Zane wanted it simple and quick to do. 09.01.2022 Got given the all clear yesterday morning from the Anglis Hospital and was able to come home , minus the fever It appears that it has been nearly ten years since my last lot of travel booster injections. The mosquitos that bite all things alive and dead got me on this little Island ,combine that with poor local hygiene,high humidity and dehydration, you havent a chance. Ive never spent time in Hospital before, this is a first ,but would like to thank everyone that helped... me with my recovery, great staff down there , very thorough. I will be open on Tues (tomorrow)for maybe half a day Then on Wednesday back as normal , and again my apologies for those clients that l was unable to reach prior to being unwell. Forever Strong

06.01.2022 Another fun day at work today , one of my local friends who struggles to be regular with her hair presented me with a fun challenge. She wanted the greys gone and the result a little lighter with some highlights . Keeping the base colour light ,regrowth was applied and blended through gently, To frame the face l applied foils on either side to soften the overall colour . After rinsing and drying ,soft long layers were put through and the ends trimmed ... All smiles and a nice result . Michael Mjs See more

01.01.2022 Great to see the sun out today , nice mild breeze through Tecoma, lm still amazed that lm able to continue to trade, but lm following the like everyone else. One of my clients this morning described The work of a hairdresser as being good for mental health and wellbeing ,yes lm sure it falls close to that category, lifting your spirits making you feel nice . This morning l had just that experience with my first client , massive regrowth colour last done around Christmas jus...t gone, and a challenge ahead with silky fine hair. Using extra lift in my colour mix, l lightened the roots and added foils to give the hair flavour , gentle layering and keeping the length Corina is all smiles .
