16.01.2022 Merry Christmas to all of our customers and followers. Thank you for your support in 2020. Our boating and fishing will remain open over the break except for public holidays. As stated in our last post we now stock ICE and a fresh batch of gents in stock. Weather for tomorrow and Boxing Day is looking very good especially for those who fish. We are open today so remember to stock up on Bait,Tackle and Ice before the Christmas long weekend. Also if you haven't done so now may be a good time to check the date on your flares. We a sold a few in the last couple days and only have 5 sets left in stock until the New Year. See you on the water !!! Hardwicke Bay

15.01.2022 MJ BOAT BUILD UPDATE.....It has been 4 months since I have posted some boat build updates. It has been a slow process because our workload for other work has been higher than usual, which is good. Over Christmas break I built an aluminium trailer. Its only the last few weeks I have jumped back on the boat and have started to make it my priority. Before that it was just weekend work. One I have welded the gunwale extrusions I will start the custom cab. This boat will not have forward bunks so the cab will be well forward to allow more fishing room. Keep you posted.

15.01.2022 Boat build update....After only getting a little time to work on the boat during week due to other work that had to be done I got a bit done yesterday and this morning. Got the hull sheets pulled around and tacked down. Chines tacked on and welded inside of keel forward of Frame 6. Then fitted the winch lug and welded it inside. Once that was done I tacked the stem plate in which will make the bow extra strong when welded. Hull is now starting to take shape. Hope to be welding the internals by next weekend. The 250kg come-a-longs I bought from Vennings on Friday were a lifesaver in shaping the bow. Keep you posted.

01.01.2022 Have finally had some progress on the boat after a month off and then a busy couple months working on the Cray boats. Inside is now welded. Back chipped the outside yesterday and fitted some planing strakes. Just need to weld the underside and fit the keel bar so we can flip it over.

01.01.2022 Roll over complete. Finally had an opportunity to jump back on the boat to finish the under side of the hull. Dressed out the outside chine welds and gave the hull a orbital with some 320 grit. Been about 12 - 13 years since I rolled a hull but fortunately its like riding a bike and all came back to me. Have set the hull up on the workshop floor with a couple legs to keep it level so we can start the otherside. Big thanks to my lovely wife for her help today.
