24.01.2022 We had a lovely visit today from the traveling roadshow called Deadly Australian’s. The Kindergarten children where presented with a mini wildlife show that captivated their love for the wildlife and inspired thoughts of conservation aimed at the younger generation to care for our beautiful country and all it’s animals

20.01.2022 Yesterday we gave thanks to our hardworking and dedicated educators and celebrated Educators Day. As you can tell they celebrated it in style . We’d like to also thank all our families for their love and appreciation showed to our valued staff. Here’s a little snippet of their day

19.01.2022 Tomorrow (Friday 11th) in our Dunlop centre, these five staff members have kindly volunteered to have pies thrown at them All in the name of charity We are raising money for the Mareeba animal refuge and for a $5 donation your child can throw a whip cream pie at one of these ladies ... We are also dressing up as our favourite animals for a gold coin donation! We have our game faces on and are ready to go parents and guardians are welcome to watch.

A carpet python that was found cosied up and restfully sleeping has now been safely removed and relocated The Kindy rooms were in full lockdown during this time, everyone is safe

Activities such as fun dress Friday’s, pie throwing and donations have all been so much fun. Last Friday, Jennifer from Mareeba Animal Refuge came to accept the donation of $1200 with beautiful Charlie. We hope these funds can help!

04.01.2022 Attention Families - This is very important for all families to ensure is undertaken. 30 June 2021 deadline for Child Care Subsidy This information is provided by Services Australia, Australian Government. When you get Child Care Subsidy (CCS) you need to confirm your family’s income after the end of each financial year. If you don’t do this by the due date, your CCS will stop.... If you got Child Care Subsidy (CCS) for the 201819 or 201920 financial year, you must confirm your income. Most parents have already done this. If you haven’t, do it now. Even if you’ve told the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) you don’t need to lodge, you must still confirm your income with Centrelink. When you need to confirm income for 201819 If you got CCS for 201819, we asked you to confirm your income by 31 March 2021. If you still haven’t confirmed your family income by 30 June 2021, you may need to pay back all the CCS you got for 201819. Your CCS will also cancel from 12 July 2021. You will need to make a new claim if you wish to get a reduced fee again. When you need to confirm income for 201920 If you got CCS for 201920, you need to confirm your family income by 30 June 2021. If you don’t, your CCS will reduce to 0%. This means you’ll need to pay full fees when you access child care. If you confirm your income after 30 June 2020, we can start your CCS again. But if there’s a gap between your CCS stopping and you confirming your income, you’ll miss out on CCS for that time. How you confirm your income You don’t need to call or visit us to confirm your income. You need to either: lodge your tax return with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) tell us you don’t need to lodge one and confirm your income online. If you have a partner, they’ll need to do this too. If you separated during the year, we’ll also need your ex-partner’s income. Please call us on 136 150 if you have any concerns about confirming your ex-partners income. If you’ve lodged your tax return, the ATO will send us your income information. We usually get this within 28 days from when you get your Notice of Assessment. If you or your partner don’t need to lodge a tax return, you need to let us know. You must do this, even if you’ve told the ATO that you don’t need to lodge. You can do this and confirm your income for the year using either your: Centrelink online account through myGov Express Plus Centrelink mobile app. To check if you need to lodge a return, use the Do I need to lodge a tax return? tool on ATO website. We went with Cameron from Hiit 40 because he displayed a hi...gh level of enthusiasm and was eager to engage with his local community sharing his passion for health and fitness with the young children. 15.11.2021 Santa came to visit Dunlop Campus today! The sleigh was broken down in the North Pole so our friends from Queensland Police Service helped the big fulla out and dropped him off down to see us all. Lots of fun and smiles for our children.
