23.01.2022 To all my amazing friends, followers and supporters.... I think it is time I finally let go of my Think Cakes days and change my page over to what I am currently up to. I will convert my page over to my Photography & Digital Art Page over the next few days (pending Facebook approval - let's hope they don't make me delete it!). I really hope everyone continues to 'like' the page and see what I am up to. Thank you for being so supportive, Think Cakes was a huge part of mine and my family's life. I have backed up all my images, posts and comments so I can always look back on them :D

22.01.2022 Testing out the Olympus OMD E-M1X!!! I love how these images have turned out. This camera captures all the detail beautifully. These are taken with the Panasonic Leica 100-400mm lens. I am looking forward to testing this camera out on some other subjects to see how it performs.... stay tuned... more images will come over the coming days :D

22.01.2022 I managed to squeeze a cake in for a friend (which helped me realise I'm not quite ready to jump back into decorating just yet!). Edible images and rice paper decorations are a great way to fancy up your home made cakes while I'm unavailable ;)

16.01.2022 Hello!!! I'm sure everyone has noticed that I have not been making cakes for some time now. Life has been pretty hectic with a house full of kids. Finding the time to put into a cake was becoming more and more difficult, so I had to make the decision to stop taking orders..... this left me feeling a little lost and without a creative outlet... so I turned to photography and then discovered how much I enjoyed the post processing and creating composite images. 15.01.2022 Buy a Print for a Cause! 100% of proceeds are being donated to RFS Brigades in the Central Coast District! Those Brigades can then use those funds to purchase things our amazing Volunteer Fire Fighters need... monies will be handed directly to the brigades to spend how they need to. The more prints we sell the more $$$ we have to distribute across brigades. I know there are plenty of go fund me pages and fund raising pages out there..... this was just a way I could see to... help local brigades directly, with approval from the Central Coast District RFS, and give something back in return for peoples generosity. 15.01.2022 A couple of shots from our family trip to Taronga Zoo Sydney. The Cubs have grown up so much. They were 3 months old when we went last time. These cats get big real quick!!!! Shot through wire with the Olympus EM5 MKII (which by the way is on sale till tomorrow for an incredible price at John Ralph's Camera House). The second image is shot through glass in the reptile room. With the camera on ISO 1600 it handled the low light really well and had no problems with focus. 11.01.2022 I visited my mums place in Lower Mangrove over the weekend.... the fire front was less than 1km away about a week ago..... the RFS have since backburned her property to reduce the risk of her property coming under threat in the near future..... 08.01.2022 I had so much fun photographing the Raw Challenge Event over the weekend. I love watching total strangers working together and helping each other through the various obstacles. I may have run around the 9km track several times over the 2 days but I didn't have it as tough as the participants. Plenty of laughs throughout the day too!!!!
