For example, the Victorian Police logo has very obvious symbolism that may not appeal to today's intelligent, law abiding and awoke society. As written and explained by Lévi, Éliphas in 1854 in "Transcendental Magic, its Doctrine and Ritual" says, "A reversed pentagram, with two points projecting upwards, is a symbol of evil and attracts sinister forces because it overturns the proper order of things and demonstrates the triumph of matter over spirit." Although the symbolism of an upside down pentagram may mean other things, one would need to question if the upside down pentagram (as seen in the Victorian Government link below) is still relevant and supportive to both our Police force and the community, especially during the heart centred Aquarian times that we are now living in.
