07.01.2022 SNAKE BITE WARNING The snakes are most definitely out and about. If your pet comes into contact with one, it is important they receive emergency care asap. ...Signs of snake bite can be subtle at first and can progress rapidly to complete paralysis and an inability to breathe. Additionally snake venom may stop the blood clotting causing internal bleeding. If you see your pet in close contact with a snake, it is important that you get them to a vet. If you have snakes on your property and find your pet to be weak, having difficulties walking or with red or dark brown urine, always consider snake bite as a potential cause. To minimize the chance of your pets being bitten- keep dogs on a short lead when walking in bushland, prevent cats from wandering, keep your lawn well mowed and ensure there are no piles of rubble near the house. #carefortheanimals #snakebiteprevention

05.01.2022 #SunnyPerth #HotWeather #CoolDogs #IceTreats #Recipe #MustLoveDogs VEGGIE ICE TREAT RECIPE As the weather starts to heat up, so do our dogs, so we've got ...a great, healthy ice treat recipe to share that's sure to keep your dogs cool and happy during the summer months. Don't forget to give your pooch access to indoors during the hotter months and leave them with plenty of fresh water and lots of shade. It hopefully goes without saying, NEVER leave your dog in a parked car. It only takes 6 minutes for a dog to suffer from heatstroke! If you've made ice treats for your pooch, feel free to post your photos of them enjoying their treats below in the comment section. Enjoy! #dogsrefugehome #dogsofperth #rescueisthebestbreed #rescuedog #AdoptDontShop #dogsofinsta
