20.01.2022 COVID-19 UPDATE: PM declares schools to remain open, access to people visiting aged care facility permissible, restricts 500 people for external gatherings and 100 people internal gatherings. The response overseas is very different. Canada closes schools, churches, libraries, public centres, restaurants, cinemas, restricts access to aged care facilities, work from home arrangements in place for people who can work remotely and the public are told to stay home (unless it is essential). US closes schools, cinemas etc, cancels sporting events, people are advised to avoid gatherings of more than 10 people & restrictions are placed on access to aged care facility. Is Australia doing enough to stop the spread of the COVID-19? Time will tell.

20.01.2022 GEORGE PELL HIGH COURT HEARING (DAY 2): Ms Judd, QC answered numerous questions from Judges challenging the Court of Appeal's decision to view the video recording of the complainant's evidence. Ms Judd referred to evidence from a number of witnesses illustrating that there was opportunity to offend. The Court reserved its decision. https://jade.io/article/720001
