24.01.2022 All flowers have an innate wisdom that they lovingly share with us. Every flower has its own message and therapeutic properties. Flower essences are a vibrational remedy to balance the mind, body and spirit. Symbolising positive energy, love and devotion I created this pink frangipani essence during the new moon in January to bring inner peace and acknowledgement of your inner beauty, to heal and cleanse the sacral chakra

She wanted to make sure it was healthy and that I would eat it, i.e vegan. She found a recipe, changed it to suit herself (just like mum!!!) and presto.... Her vegan lemon slice was the best one I have ever tasted...mmm yummy! Gluten free, dairy free and no added sugar. Most importantly it was made with ... How lucky am I.... See more

20.01.2022 Create your own mini spa at home this Mother's Day. Light a candle, drop a bath bomb into the bath and enjoy a soothing, relaxing fragrant bath. Here is my 'Bath Bomb' recipe, the perfect gift for the kids to make (hint, hint).... Ingredients: 4 tablespoons of bicarbonate soda (aluminium free) 1 tablespoon citric acid 20 drops essential oil spray water bottle dried flowers, herbs or spices (optional). Method: Mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. Sprinkle the essential oils through, mix thoroughly. Spray with water a little at a time until the mixture resembles damp sand when squeezed (too much water will cause the mixture to fizz). Press firmly into your mould. Leave mixture for 24hrs to set. Gently remove and allow to site for another 24hrs to harden. Enjoy

19.01.2022 Take a moment, a deep breath and check in with how you are feeling in your mind, in your body, in your heart. It is such a busy time of year... end of school, end of year concerts, Christmas...... The joy of these special moments / celebrations and what they mean are sometimes lost because of the pressures we get caught in. This is a fun time to celebrate with friends and family so I invite you to take a moment and breath...

18.01.2022 The foods we consume make a significant difference to our health outcomes and how good we feel on a daily basis.... Food IS Medicine.....

13.01.2022 Clutter and your Physical and Mental Health. If anyone knows me you know I am a hoarder. I have every card, note, drawing from my girls, my cupboards are overflowing with clothes that one day I will wear again, my filing has taken over the office, our craft work has taken over the house..etc... Sound familiar?? Research has shown that all this clutter can effect your physical and mental health:... your house should be your haven not the place where you feel suffocated by the clutter you tend to reach for the unhealthy foods due to a low-self control mind set that develops by the overwhelming stacks allergies can develop as all those piles of stuff is a breeding ground for dust mites and other creepy crawlies your mental health is also effected as seeing this clutter every day can increase stress and anxiety. By letting these mountains build up it blocks out new things from entering your life; increases procrastination and weakens decision-making skills. So.... after feeling frustrated I cant find anything, sick of tripping over the piles I could not ignore the clutter anymore. The decision and commitment has been made to take back my house to make it my haven and to improve all of our physical and mental health! First task... clean out my cupboard... 3 garbage bags later (and that was just 1 shelf).... Decluttering is not a quick job, it takes time and can stir emotions but if you spend 15 minutes every day going though a little section, putting things away when you use them (hint hint to hubby and kids) this magnificent task will be worth it.

12.01.2022 Including greens into your diet....... One of my girls dislikes greens but s green smoothies. She keeps asking for them especially with the warmer weather. Hemp seeds, coconut milk and water, kale and zucchini, banana and mango, turmeric = yum and a happy girl

09.01.2022 One person’s weed is another person’s wildflower -Susan Wittig Albert Bidens pilosa aka Cobblers Pegs are to many a nuisance weed. But it is actually an extraordinary source of food and medicine. I need to thank a fellow colleague (thanks Heide) for opening my eyes to this magnificent plant.... This amazing ‘weed’ has been reported to be effective in the treatment of tumours, inflammation/immune modulation, diabetes, viruses, microbes, protozoans, gastrointestinal diseases, hypertension, and cardiovascular diseases. Caution should be exercised in the therapeutic use of this herb for hypoglycemia, hypotension, bleeding, and allergy. 08.01.2022 7th-14th November is womb awareness week. The most sacred space with a woman. From here you blossom and grow into yourself, the place you hold your divine femi...nine spirit, where you conceive or grieve your future children, where you have nurtured your babies, create and inspire the world from and each month cleanse and release what you no longer need. 01.01.2022 Me Time time spent relaxing on ones own as opposed to working or doing this for others, seen as an opportunity to reduce stress or restore energy (as defined by the Oxford Dictionary) How many of us mother ourselves, have me time? I dont have time, there is more important stuff that needs to be taken care of, its just not that easy to find time. Sound familiar?... Women today have been told we have it all -- careers, families, kids, community involvement, and relationships. But all too often, having it all leaves us with no time or strength left for ourselves. EVERY woman needs an occasional break for sanitys sake. This means taking time each day to do something for yourself. But how can you make it happen? Journal, adult colour in, read a book Have a cuppa out of your favourite mug Do your nails Do yoga Go for a jog, bike ride, walk Have a bath.. Why not try earthing? Grab that early morning cuppa, take your shoes and socks off and go for a walk around your yard 5mins, 10mins or hr. Go ahead, schedule some me time, make yourself a priority. you deserve it xx See more
