Why can't people please just leave qualified works to the professional's to save yourself from this sort of dilemma. 20.01.2022 With the colder weather approaching and people being in lock down plenty of appliances have been failing due to extended use. Safety Switches and Oven elements have taken a beating in recent times and I have lost count of how many I have replaced, but now it's the good Old 3 in 1 in the bathroom/ensuite that is now becoming a problem. Sight unseen these dust collectors never get cleaned or serviced and this is what happens when it decides to give up the ghost.... Lucky for this customer it stopped when it did and didn't cause any further issues to their beautiful home. If your in doubt give me a shout for the safety of yourself, your family and your home. 20.01.2022 UPDATE on Yesterdays Incident in Melton south. Spoke with Ambulance Victoria today at 4:50pm and was informed that this was a 50 year male that had a major seizure and wasn't in a good way when ambos attended 4 and a half minutes after the initial call, He was transported to Sunshine hospital in a serious but stable condition. They can't give me anymore information as I'm not a family member but was told that what I did was enough to give this man a fighting chance and they t...hanked me for my efforts. I have asked for a review of the phone conversation between myself and the 000 operator as to why I was being told how to perform CPR on a person that was unconscious but breathing on their own with a heartbeat present even thou his vitals were stated to the operator. Ambulance Victoria can't guarantee that I will get a response, Me, I'm just happy he made it to hospital and is in good hands and hopefully makes a quick recovery. After a few phone calls the problem was found due to the customer not realising exactly what needed to be done to find this so called fault. Well water and electricity don't mix and Oops this was found to be the cause.... 18.01.2022 M.L.K Electrics Attended to a customer that lost all lights at 11pm last night. Burnt out wire found behind the fuse. Lucky that's all that happened.... An Urgent upgrade is now being organised to replace this old and dangerous fire hazard of a switchboard. Enjoy your weekend everyone

It's still business as usual considering new restrictions being put in place as of tomorrow 23/07/2020 in regards to wearing face masks. Face masks and hand sanitiser will be used on all jobs and upon request if you feel you need a mask for your safety I will be more than happy to supply.... 14.01.2022 Running late for my last job for the day and came across this in Bridge road Melton Sth, date is wrong but the time is right. Was handed a phone and spoke to a 000 operator who was trying to tell me how to perform CPR, I explained to the operator that this man was breathing and had a heartbeat and that I have cert 2 first aid as a licenced security/bodygaurd and that he was fine and just needed to be put into the recovery position. Well the operator still wanted me to perform... CPR on him and I refused her request. Ambo's and firebrigade arrived and took over, they thanked me for what i did as he was starting to choke on his tounge and saliva. Could you imagine if it was someone else that tried doing chest compressions on a living human being. So happy I was able to assist in this situation.

13.01.2022 Huge 2 day job with Luminous Electrical & Maintenance Services and our helper Damien adding downlights,dimmers and extra power points thruout a home in Melton South. Finished late tonight and had the opportunity to get some pics of the downlights installed out the front of the house in the eaves controlled by a sensor. 11.01.2022 I have heard about and seen pictures of roof tiles being dislodged with the high winds we have had in the last couple days. 10pm tonight I attended a rental property that had lost lighting and the cause was water had entered the roof and filled up the remote receiver in a ceiling fan. Do yourself a favour and check your roof for any damage to prevent any future damage or electrical problems.

03.01.2022 Thanks to Kelly from Electrikel Power Solutions for getting this switchboard replaced in Melton south on Friday whilst I was away for the weekend. Just goes to show what can go wrong with an old switchboard over the years of adding more appliances to your home putting your board under pressure. When these boards fail they fail badly as you can see by the photo's.... Due to covid19 restrictions over the past few months and more people being at home and now school holidays we have been inundated with various calls about electrical problems. If in doubt get it checked out before it's too late. Wishing everyone a safe and happy week and please self isolate if you don't need to leave your home unecessesarilry.

02.01.2022 Warning !!! With more people being in lock down plenty of extra appliances are now being used for longer periods of time. Lucky this double adaptor failed and caused the safety switch to trip during the night preventing damage to appliances or worst still starting a fire while the occupants were asleep.... Please for safety's sake do a visual check on all adaptors, power boards and even power points for any early signs of failure before something drastic happens...
