21.01.2022 ? _ A regular dental program should be included in your routine list of vaccinations, training, deworming, feeding protoc...ols and farrier appointments it is just as important!! When was the last time your horse had a dentist appointment? How old is your horse? Do you know how regularly they should be having their teeth looked at by a professional? Young horses have a lot of movement and change happening in their mouths! This occurs up until the age of around 5. Due to this, these young horses should be checked by a dentist at least every six months. Older horses who have their adult teeth should be seen at the very least, once a year on average. However, this should become more regularly if your horse has not been involved in a regular dentist maintenance program in the past. Our dear senior horses, say over the age of 20, often require more care, and as they begin to lose their permanent teeth, it is best to have them seen more frequently to ensure they can comfortably consume the amount of forage they need. Try and keep their dentist appointments every 6 months. Please remember, however, every horse should be seen on a case by case basis to determine how regularly and what kind of treatment should occur. For example, It is often recommended that high-performance horses should be looked at least every six months due to their year-round training schedules. At the end of the day, your horse's health and comfort should be your priority. Not only will this ensure you have a happy horse, but it will also give your horse the best possible chance at improving their performance.

He is generally very quiet and kind. He is a big boy he is already standing at around 16.2 un measured. He still has growing to do. He is papered, branded and well Breed.
