25.01.2022 My solo show was a hit thanks to yall! @unitedartistsproject put on such a good night and it sold out. If you missed out on seeing it, its up at 15 Hope St, South Brisbane until 31st May. Theres postcards for sale there too. Thanks to the greatest of human people @georgelevi___ for the sexy photos- especially the one of @jstrakertroublemaker and @slipperrygypsy photo bombing my art with their sloppy pashes.

21.01.2022 Over a hundred tiny Sangiovese and Chardonnay grapes (anyone who can guess how many there are, wins the lolly jar) inspired by my pals at @minimumwines and @grownandgathered and created for my upcoming solo show. Matt and Lentil have been integral in opening my eyes to the great importance of working with, and for, nature. Theyve dedicated themselves to giving us new exposure to traditional and natural farming practices. Their transparency within process and ecological value...s fit perfectly beside all those that have inspired the work for this show. Im exicited to not only have their grapes on the gallery wall, but their wine in your attending hands. Show details coming soon. 17.01.2022 A magical nest of foraged delights for @milkwood_permaculture When I was emailing Kirsten about being involved in this show, she mentioned that her and her family were about to relocate to Tassie. Thinking about their journey to the magical land that is Tasmania inspired the idea to illustrate (and celebrate) some of the foraged and wild elements they discuss in their book and online.... Kirsten and Nick and the team around them are a constant source of inspiration: providing platforms for us to learn, expand our minds and to thrive in a more sustainable, self sufficient life. 13.01.2022 This one is for @hangingrockfarm an organic flower and vegetable farm in northern NSW. I was inspired to draw for this farming family, not only because theyre self proclaimed maniacs but there was something that drew me to the creativity and obvious love and care Lani has for her flowers. After chatting about why she thought it important to grow organic flowers, Lani informed me of the unsustainable and unethical practises within the flower industry and the slave trade being... alive and well in the third world. Shes providing options: Beautiful, traditional, heirloom, organic, unruly, full of scent options. Its not just our daily food we need to think about and explore the story behind. 09.01.2022 I set a goal last year to get my artwork and design to a place where it would speak to people that had sustainability and ethical practices at the forefront of their hearts and ventures. Working with Young Farmers Connect has definitely been a highlight of that goal and Im super proud of this artwork and the way Joel and I worked together. You can keep up to date with their work over at @youngfarmersconnect Another goal is getting my illustrations on to gin bottles... ha! lets make it happen.

08.01.2022 I have an exciting solo exhibition coming up this summer where Ill be creating artwork for a special group of farmers, foragers, growers and keepers across Australia. The artwork will be a celebration of the beauty and diversity of 'real' food and the biodiversity within permaculture and sustainable farming. This piece here is the first in the collection and was created for @littleacremushrooms from West End, QLD, who grow and provide us with beautiful gourmet mushrooms. These things are incredibly good for you, have medicinal qualities and are just stunning to look at. Stay tuned for many more drawings and show deets.

06.01.2022 Another piece for my exhibition coming up this Summer where Im drawing up Harvest pieces for sustainable and regenerative farms and growers across Australia. With a backdrop of the surrounding mountains, native plants, bees, citrus and a host of edible delights, Millen Farm is a real beauty... and only a few minutes drive from my home. They have a Farmers Market every Wednesday afternoon where the public can purchase organic produce that has travelled a few metres in distance. A true gem for our community, Im stoked they let me draw for them.
