17.01.2022 We are very pleased for our Vietnamese client and her Australian partner. We prepared and lodged a Partner (Provisional) (subclass 309) visa in June this year and her visa was approved in just around four-month - it would have been faster but due to CoVid-19 Medical Examinations and Biometric testing centres were closed until late October. With extensive experience in Partner Visas, we understand every relationship is unique as are your circumstances, culture and backgro...und. However, as one of the most experienced Migration Agents in Australia, we are here to design a strategy to maximise your success as well as have you understood the requirements and be able to lodge a "decision ready application" that fully satisfies the Department. Contact us today at [email protected], we will work together to achieve the goal! #ModernMigrationAustralia

11.01.2022 The Department of Immigration and Citizenship has updated the instructions around the placement of adverts for positions seeking a nomination under Subclass 482. While the full details are set out below, the core change has been the mandated requirement for the position to be advertised in 3 distinct locations. The three locations must be the mandated use of the Government’s own Jobactive website operated by the Employment Department and then two other national reach platf...orms be they online, radio or in some cases the sponsor’s own website. 11.01.2022 The Australian Government has updated it’s Values Statement and made English a requirement for people seeking Citizenship or Permanent Visas with a particular focus on Spouse and Partner visas. As seen in a wide range of media feedback, there has been a strong response to this change https://www.abc.net.au//australian-partner-visa-e/12743534 ; https://www.abc.net.au//500-hours-of-english-clas/12741714. The move has been spearheaded my Minister Trudge who has made a ran...ge of claims about the number of people in Australia who don’t speak English. What the Minister has failed to do is provide any evidence that this lack of English has actually negatively impacted upon the lives and well being of the people he claims to have identified. Furthermore, the fundamental flaw in the Values Statement remains unaddressed that is, no where does the statement address the notion of inclusiveness that is central to Australia’s multicultural society. In fact, the exclusion of celebrating Australia’s wonderful multiculturalism has led many to see this development as a further move towards a return of a White Australia Policy sentiment. Schedule 2Values Statement Part 1 I confirm that I have read, or had explained to me, information provided by the Australian Government on Australian society and values. I understand that Australian society values: respect for the freedom and dignity of the individual; freedom of religion (including the freedom not to follow a particular religion), freedom of speech, and freedom of association; commitment to the rule of law, which means that all people are subject to the law and should obey it; parliamentary democracy whereby our laws are determined by parliaments elected by the people, those laws being paramount and overriding any other inconsistent religious or secular laws; equality of opportunity for all people, regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, race, or national or ethnic origin; a ‘fair go’ for all that embraces: o mutual respect; o tolerance; o compassion for those in need; o equality of opportunity for all; the English language as the national language, and as an important unifying element of Australian society. I undertake to conduct myself in accordance with these values of Australian society during my stay in Australia and to obey the laws of Australia. Part 2 I undertake to make reasonable efforts to learn the English language, if it is not my native language. I understand that, if in the future I meet the legal qualifications for becoming an Australian citizen and my application is approved, I will need to pledge my loyalty to Australia and its people. These changes come into effect on 30th of October 2020. #ModernMigrationAustralia #citizenship #permanentResidencyinAustralia #partnervisa

03.01.2022 On 01 December 2020, Pearson PTE has revised its score range. At IELTS 6.5 and below the concordant PTE Academic scores, while in the same range, are at some points lower on the scale. However, those visa applicants who want to have equivalent IETLS 8 bands will be heavily impacted. As they now need to achieve PTE 84 points instead of 79 points.... Department of Home Affairs has not yet modified PTE scores on their official website, and there will be no impact to those who already lodged their visas. However, it is matter of time the Department to make the change accordingly. SOURCE https://pearsonpte.com//2020-pte-and-ielts-concordance-re/
