18.01.2022 How does this recent turmoil fit into God’s plan? On reflection, one of God’s greatest plans played out at a time in world history that was equally a time of great turmoil and distress. That plan? The coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Physically, God’s people were under the occupation of the Roman Empire. Spiritually, they were under the tyranny of the Jewish leaders who were more interested in power and wealth than preparing God’s people for the coming Saviour. On top of ...this, there was a census requiring everyone to relocate to their family place of birth; typically they had to walk for days. However, amongst all this turmoil the angels proclaimed: Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. (Luke 2:10-11). How quickly we forget that amongst all this turmoil that God has already rescued us. The message of Christmas is here, it is real and nothing can surpass the joy that we have in Jesus. Richard Bolton

09.01.2022 Within the context of COVID-19, this conference will be about recognising that we all live in a masked world; about identifying the masks that we wear in our own lives; and about having the courage to live as free, unmasked men in our world. The conference will be run across five separate conference venues to enable men to gather in compliance with current Covid-19 regulations. These conference venues are located in Annandale, Hurstville Grove, Northmead, Rooty Hill and Oran ...Park. The main conference platform (Annandale) will livestream the Keynote Speakers to the other conference venues, each of which will host an additional two speakers - resulting in a hybrid virtual, plus face-to-face conference. A great opportunity for you and I to gather once again around God’s word in the company of other likeminded men. More exciting news and details will follow in the coming weeks. In the meantime, please Save the Date the 27th March 2021. Write it in your diary, share it with your men’s ministry team and ask your Minister/Pastor to pray for this Conference and that the Conference Committee can successfully meet the challenges this Covid-19 pandemic is throwing at us.
