25.01.2022 This is confronting. The AFP are doing a great job, but they shouldn’t have to catch paedophiles twice. Courts need to step up and stop letting these dangerous ...criminals back on the street. As long as I’m in the Parliament I’ll be fighting for tougher sentencing and making sure police have the powers to track down these abhorrent offenders wherever they hide.

25.01.2022 What a great effort. I will definitely be following and supporting this guy on his journey !

24.01.2022 I am continuously blown away by how kind and supportive people are! This was given to me by a very talented writer who knows my story and supports the campaign. The words are powerful and thought that has gone into it, incredible #grateful #asequenceofevents #communitycourage #thankyou

24.01.2022 We are starting with Western Australia but this is just the start. #asequenceofevents #communitycourage #SaveOurChildren

23.01.2022 You are all amazing !!! Last night I posted about a challenge we were having with getting through the Charity registration process... today, after people making calls on our behalf, offering support and advice, we now have a resolution to the problem and ACNC are working with us to get Community Courage Ltd registered as a Public Benevolent Institution, as soon as possible. Thanks to everyone - we really are going to achieve great things

23.01.2022 Great work by @Vince Connelly MP. No matter what political opinions you may have or how you feel about Australia’s involvement in specific conflicts, every Australian should support the people that we, as a country, send to carry out these type of activities.

22.01.2022 She clearly does not approve of having wine in our photo #groodle #asequenceofevents

22.01.2022 Very sad news. A tragedy. At Community Courage, we recently proposed a solution to the WA Government to create the need a WA Child Sexual Abuse Task Force .. this needs to take place. The time for talking is over. It’s time for action. #communitycourage #SaveOurChildren

21.01.2022 This is @Yahdoh Acoustica yesterday singing John Denver "Ryhmes and Reasons" in a pub in Northern Queensland, Australia. My favourite verse of this song is; "And the song that I am singing Is a prayer to non believers Come and stand beside us... We can find a better way" I very much appreciate his support and the support I am getting from everyone. The world is full of good people and good people will drive change for a better future. Let's do it for our children. No more excuses, protect our kids.

20.01.2022 Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time. Thomas Merton.. Thank you Carmel Sayer, God of Light has arrived at home and it is beautiful! @carmelsayerart #grateful #asequenceofevents #thankyou #breathe #artistsoninstagram

16.01.2022 It’s not every night you see this sitting out at my brother and sister in-laws farm in Albany, WA. Only light can drive out the darkness. Have a great weekend team. After a massive week of progress, I’m checking off of social media for the weekend to spend time with the family, see you next week! #asequenceofevents

15.01.2022 Lest we forget. It’s important we honour those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Australia is a great country forged on the back of honest and hard working people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds but we need to remain vigilant to all threats both international and domestic in order to secure a bright future for our children.

10.01.2022 She was my Nan, she was my friend and she always had my back. Rest In Peace young lady. Love you.

07.01.2022 It was a great experience talking to Ben and Tim on their Podcast Unforgiving60. I was grateful for the opportunity to share my story and talk about the next steps for our Charity! Please support Community Courage #SaveOurChildren #communitycourage #asequenceofevents #unforgiving60

02.01.2022 NATIONAL STROKE WEEK - I usually don’t tell many people but I actually had a stroke when I was 28 years old - Kimberley Jayne Mexsom who was my wife at the time noticed the FAST symptoms straight away and got me to the Hospital. She insisted I go although I told her I would be ok and would just push through it). Following a pretty crazy few months in and out of hospital, I had to be resuscitated, spent time in ICU and it was identified that I had suffered a very rare ...Cerebral venous sinus thrombosis and focal seizures. As a result, I have a complete blockage on one side of my transverse sinus and jugular and I will always only have blood draining from one side of my brain (below picture) however; apart from some minor memory issues and word finding difficulty, I was extremely lucky to have survived and am very grateful to have recovered well. This National Stroke Week (Aug 31-Sept 6) Stroke Foundation is urging Australians from all walks of life to become the next generation of F.A.S.T. Heroes. A F.A.S.T. hero is anyone who can help save a life simply by knowing how to recognise the F.A.S.T. (Face. Arms. Speech and Time) signs of stroke. When a stroke happens, brain cells start dying at a frightening rate of up to 1.9 million per minute, but medical treatments can stop this damage. The message is simple Time is brain. The faster you can be treated after stroke, the more chance you have of making a full recovery. https://bit.ly/3fc8dMb #strokeweek2020 #asequenceofevents #communitycourage #marcmexsom
