13.01.2022 So Monday morning I started with 15 job cards from Pw50 throttle cable n service to a VT110O manifold replacement, tires on a CB400, 3 CB250’s crashed, chain sprockets and service & 3 scooter services. Wednesday I’m down to 5 job cards still, tomorrow has FJ1200 service and rear tire, a RMZ450 front tire, scooter belt issue and another scooter oil leak n service. Have triple booked myself for Friday of all days!!! Ninja 300 service, KTM 450 Speedo unit setup and an XVS Cruis...er to fit crash bars too and have all 5 benches full and running out of space...ooooo and 5 scooters in the holding pattern waiting on parts and 2 bikes still to bike up in Byron Bay...Gotta love the different types and styles of bikes I get to fix. When I think about how all this started many years ago it with Lyn Murphy and Ken Murphy as an apprentice who left me to learn the old fashion way... ( using your brain and not a computer ) while he chased his cattle and checked on me every now and than and made sure I hadn’t chopped any fingers off or lost any eyebrow hairs and made my way thru as a Chick mechanic. Now I have my busy as shop and finding it hard to say we r still booked out for 2 weeks or so but will always try our best to get things fixed. ... is it Friday 5pm yet!!!!! See more

12.01.2022 BRING ON SUMMER PLEASE!!!!!!! Not enjoying this cold weather and fingers that are not functional... bit of front end work to start the week.. it’s funny how you can have runs on jobs of the same nature... had to bring another bench back to work.. 5 in total now and still working outside on the ground as finding it hard to get a quick turnaround with getting available parts.. frustrating for such a small shop but working thru it still and trying to keep customers happy. Add in 4 pickups today with broken down bikes....is it Friday yet!!!!!!

10.01.2022 Finally after many many many months of being behind with work I finally caught up and had an hour of nothing to do... so I sorted out all my bolt boxes out...now for a weekend of nobody’s and mountain biking in the peace and quite bush land with all the koalas and goannas...than back to the Madness Mayhem Monday Must Make Motors Go week . Have a great weekend everyone and stay safe in these trying times.

09.01.2022 Sometime you wonder if having a break is worthit l!!!!... back at it this week and already in 3 days booked out till February. Book’m in move them out!!!!’ Or just play 5 musical benches again.... can you just!!!! Should be an easy fix after 2 yrs sitting!!!!...while you got it can you just !!!!...OOOO left it out in the rain, should be just a battery!!!!.... Need some wiring fixed after rats ate it!!!!.... I really should have a tally board for this year... . makes me u laugh for a short time...and back to the spanners i Go .. HI HO HI HO ITS OFF TO WORK I GO with COFFEE
