23.01.2022 HUGE NEWS! Megan has been a fantastic supporter of mens & mixed netball throughout her career so far. She has played in our M-League competition (and slayed), worked as a specialist coach with our top teams and even lined up to Assistant Coach our Mens Opens with Teresa Tairi. She is an outstanding tactician, a warm and kind person and a sniper shooter to boot. I guess we are cheering for Queensland Firebirds now?

17.01.2022 Taking every opportunity to be involved with netball for 13 year old Brock is why he is such a big part of Toukley Netball Club. Developing his skills through the grassroots programs on the NSW Central Coast, to now helping out his mum with coaching. Brock is a walking encyclopedia of netball knowledge which would rival netball legend Liz Ellis!! Brock explains his excitement at the news that there will be 2 boys divisions at the HART Junior State Titles this year and why it... is important to offer this program to other young male netballers just like him. 13.01.2022 To commemorate our first ever Indigenous Round of NSW M-League during National NAIDOC, we invited Indigenous artist and netballer Beryl Friday to create a design for us. The design features traditional painting techniques with the U shapes facing each other as opposing teams respectfully facing off whilst the dots and lines, and various blue tones represents the assemblage of different styles of play Beryl is a proud Kuku-Yalanji woman with connections to Kaanjtu, Birrigubba ...and Kamilaroi women. She has played for Queensland Firebirds, West Coast Fever and UTS Randwick Sparks Netball Association. 11.01.2022 Vale Sheila Kitchingham The sport of Men’s Netball has lost a true champion. We were saddened by the news that Sheila Kitchingham , who was instrumental in the development of the MNNSW Junior Program in the early to late 1990’s, and who coached the NSW Men’s Under 21 team from 1990-1997 passed away over the weekend. Former MNNSW Representative Player Paul Stilgoe commented Shelia was a great supporter of Mens netball. As a coach she was second to none. She had plenty of... time for us in the u21's. A great sense of humour probably helped there. A great loss to the netball community." Sheila’s was involved with MNNSW for over a decade. She coached the Under 23s to the finals in 1997, was Vice President from 1993 to 1996 and Coaching Coordinator in 1997 and 1998. She went on to Manage teams in 1999 and 2000. President, Clare McCabe who also had the pleasure of working with Sheila said Sheila believed in and created teams that embraced a high standard of behaviour, always setting an example of good sportsmanship and losing with grace. Sheila was a tough coach with a great sense of humour who was able to get the best out of her athletes. Sheila continued to support Men playing this great sport long after she stopped coaching. We have indeed lost a real stalwart of our sport. Sheila will be remembered for all her roles within MNNSW - as a Coach, Manager, Administrator and Supporter, most recently always on the sideline while her granddaughters played in the Mixed Division.
