17.01.2022 This week our MEP Team were awarded a project by Auckland Transport to undertake the upgrade of 50 bus shelters across Auckland. The project involves a complete review and upgrade of bus shelter solar provision to allow for a continuous supply of lighting during the evenings. Providing for a safer service and improved customer satisfaction. Good work MEP Team!

14.01.2022 The weeks of sweat and tears have passed with Wayne, Rachel & Quintin having finally signed off our new website design which is gone live - please link yourself up and have a look about!! Jessica has lead from the front, working with our management team as she's been fully committed in developing and improving our new company website to showcase our attributes, our experience along with providing the commercial services we're specializing in delivering across all our offices.... We realise there are still some minor tweaks needed as we square it away over the next few months. We have new features but the most important new feature during this time is our COVID-19 link (with a little video of our disinfecting & sanitation treatments) which we've been providing to our customers for years. 06.01.2022 Teamwork makes the dream work! A few weeks ago, Auckland Transport contacted MMS Group with the hope to make use of the Eastern Line Closure planned by KiwiRail. The aim was for MMS Group to undertake a full track clean of the eastern line along with a complete deep clean of Panmure Train Station. Our team in Auckland got straight to work and with good planning and communication between MMS and KiwiRail, and we were able to get our Detail Cleaning Crews and Equipment to work ...immediately. Starting with the Eastern Line Track Clean, MMS Group completed 10 Stations along the Eastern Line, collecting all litter and rubbish thrown onto the rail tracks. It was amusing to see the amount of rubbish collected and is something we as a team will be working with alongside Auckland Transport to see how we, as a wider community, can address the problem we have which is that of littering and illegal dumping. Over 300 bags of rubbish were removed from the Eastern Line! An astonishing and alarming amount of rubbish collected within the rail corridor annually. Moving to Panmure Train Station, a crew of 6 staff with boom lifts, scissor lifts and all the height gear needed had got their hands dirty getting stuck into every nook and cranny of the station and its perimeter. Using Non-Potable water, our team undertook a complete wash down of all structures both internally and externally which included that of an abseil across the rail line to clean the glass windows overlooking the rail platforms. Yet again, astonished by the amount of build-up generated over time, hard work paid off and the station is looking great. Thank you to Auckland Transport and the Facilities Team for making this happen. Through tough times we have come together and delivered a good outcome for the facility and the community. 05.01.2022 MMS Group have been awarded a new Contract with Brisbane City Council (BCC) in providing surface preparation and painting services to 7 bridges across the greater Brisbane Region. MMS Group has previously partnered with BCC, completing surface preparation and painting services along with many other special projects. We are very excited at the opportunity to further our long-term partnership. Our MMS Brisbane team has started works and we will be sure to keep you updated on our progress!
