21.01.2022 Not many places in the world where you get a beautiful Winters Day like this... We went for a walk at Herdsman Lake and found some old friends that can always be spotted around here - The majestic and elegant "Great Crested Grebe". They are pretty rare in WA and are mainly spotted in the South West - they are so beautiful to look at and are funny to watch interacting with each other...

19.01.2022 We had been meaning to go back to Esperance for a long time now after we were there last in 2011. We finally managed to organise this trip and thought wed check out Hopetoun at the same time, a place we both have not been to before. We werent dissappointed. It was a very nice 6 days away, lots of exploring and photo taking! We would definitely recommend Hopey and Fitzgerald River National Park.

17.01.2022 It was a beautiful day - so we decided to go visit Yanchep, one of our favourite places in Perth and less than 30 minutes away from our doorstep! There is always so much to see here....

14.01.2022 In my lunch hour last week, I did a macro photography workshop with Steve Parish in Kings Park looking at the wildflowers and got some hints and techniques to challenge myself with when doing macro shots. It was a really lovely way to spend my lunch hour!

It was big, round and beautiful - bathing Perth city in a beautiful glow of golden orangey yellow....Hubby and I were going to go to Moon hunting in South Perth but decided to go to Kings Park instead to take these shots... A nice way to end the busy week on a photography adventure!

04.01.2022 Some grandparents who wanted beautiful photos of their granddaughters to put on their wall, so we decided to go to Hyde Park - one of my favourite parks in Perth to do a photo shoot. For those who have worked with children will appreciate how hard it is to capture a photo where they cooperate - which means they are looking at you and smiling at the same time. Luckily I managed to get a few natural shots and both were gorgeous models and a pleasure to photograph!
