20.01.2022 Kylie's Beach is my most recently discovered location ( thanks to my friend Kevin for taking me along). Situated in Crowdy Bay National Park it is one of many scenic locations. Access is easy by 4WD or foot through thick sand deeply rutted by tyre indentations. The sun was shining, the sky was cloudless but the rocks were intriguing with many of them covered by spongelike growths which spurted short bursts of seawater. The low tide revealed a variety of craggy rock formations with an uninterrupted view lighthouse perched on top of the Crowdy Head headland.
16.01.2022 I love the way North Brother Mountain can be seen from any location within Camden Haven and even further afield. The Haven is also home to some amazing forests of varying types. A rainforest just off the Bago Road is home to the largest bloodwood tree in the world. Aptly named "Old Bottlebutt", it rises like a prehistoric creature from the rainforest floor.
14.01.2022 A visit to the Kindee suspension bridge has been on the drawing board for some time. Notably the oldest suspension bridge in Australia, it was opened in 1936 and crosses the Hastings River. The height of the bridge was apparently due to the likelihood of flooding in the area.#KindeeBridge #CamdenHaven Something happened to the original post and the photos are not going into a slideshow on this one. I will never work FB out !
12.01.2022 Camden Haven is a small harbour in the Mid North Coast approximately 30 km south of Port Macquarie. Appropriately named, it indeed represents a haven, a refuge from a fast paced lifestyle comprised of people jostling, crowds encroaching and traffic stalling. The harbour is located where the Camden Haven River empties into the Tasman Sea. It is also the name given to a group of settlements located on the shores and in the rural surrounds.
11.01.2022 Some of the magnificent walks available at Dorrigo Rainforest situated a few hours drive west of Coffs Harbour and a great stopping off point along the scenic route known as Waterfall Way. https://wildsight.com.au/dorrigo/
10.01.2022 More from the shoot at Kylie's Beach. Would love to go back on a stormy day or a day with a sky full of fluffy clouds. :-)
10.01.2022 Port Macquarie has so very many beaches, all with great rock formations. Some shots from a recent photo shoot at Oxley Beach.

08.01.2022 I've been wanting to visit Blackhead ever since I saw a photo posted of the beach cave resembling the shape of Australia. I didnt anticipate getting lost so I missed the sunrise but was in time for the golden hour. Access was easy if you dont mind a few steep steps at the end of the path

05.01.2022 Crowdy Bay National Park is home to many magnificent walks and views. ( Link in comments). After visiting Kylie's Hut we ventured to Kylie's beach which require...d a short slog through very deep rutted sand churned up by 4WDs. Tide was low and the sky was relatively cloudless but it was a lovely mild day to be out in the fresh air and it's always loads of fun wave watching. A closeup of one of my shots revealed an interesting face. See more
