19.01.2022 Loving the progress weve had on this extension/renovation in old Torquay thanks to some great work from our team The scaffold has been dropped to reveal where the old house meets the new, and the beautiful combination of secret screwed blackbutt cladding and James Hardie Axon cement sheet cladding home Two different window suppliers to keep maintenance on the second level at a minimum. Upstairs windows are a combination of aluminium external and timber internal, and downstairs are custom made solid timber doors and window. The big slider at the rear of the dining room is a key feature flowing on to a deck and established gardens

17.01.2022 Miranda Townhouses are off to a great start 2 seperate concrete slabs were poured and structural steel has been installed Our team here at Nelson Builders take a lot of pride in building custom designed projects. We believe a strong build requires strong foundations and structure This is why we still incorporate old school proven construction methods like a stiffened raft slab and stick frame walls built on site (not in an off site factory ) We find by having... the same carpenters completing the entire job that the quality, care and pride is carried through out all stages of the build The frames, the lock up ( external cladding), the fix (doors, architraves and skirtings) and fit off all custom built and installed by the same team of carpenters collaborating with quality trades. The combination of rough sawn cypress cladding Frencham Cypress with the clean look of the white James Hardie axon sheet cladding. Throw in the timber windows, concealed garage doors and a blue sky we could all do with some sunshine and blue skies at the moment.
