24.01.2022 I've been a bit hesitant in posting on FB for work but a great customer suggested I post photos of some of the cool cars I get to carry out inspections on! I have a real soft spot for the Classics Check out this beauty! CM Val from 1980 (was that really all that long ago? )

24.01.2022 I am a devastated to be writing this post, but here goes..... As everyone has noticed our little business has suffered along with many others this year with the ongoing drought. It has gotten to a point where I can not keep falling into more and more debt to try & keep going. Next Monday will be our last day, doors will be "closed" as of Tuesday 16th July for work, but will be open for a huge "Garage Sale". It's a long story & the decision has not been made in haste or withou...t trying many options to keep going. Having no help from the government or financial lenders has left no option but for me to close my doors & walk away. I understand how devastating it is to leave Clifton with no fuel, I am fully aware of the trouble this has caused & I apologise profusely. If some one is keen to get the fuel back in town and are looking to purchase the business please let me know as it is for sale. I would like to thank everyone that has supported us through the last 4 years, it has been an interesting journey & I have met so many lovely, caring, honest, supportive, understanding & wonderful people that I have learnt to care for & appreciate. I will miss you all. I would like to give my workers my most heartfelt thanks too, especially Kyle who has been with us for the majority of the time we have owned the business, he has stuck with us through thick & thin, kept an amazing positive attitude & has been wonderful with customers. His honesty & loyalty go beyond words. BJ has been with us under a year but I am devastated to be unable to qualify him as my apprentice, he has shown amazing potential to become a great mechanic & even go onto bigger things. We have shared many laughs & have learnt so much as a team, I will miss the inappropriate jokes & stirring immensely. I would also like to thank my super supportive & helpful suppliers, the joys of a small town also means you get to deal with super fantastic suppliers that go above & beyond their duty. Burson Automotive in Toowoomba & Warwick are awesome & I couldn't recommend them enough for all parts & tools. Warwick Wrecking have the most knowledgable person I have met! The list could go on for ever so I will keep it to one last thank you for my suppliers, IOR Fuels have been wonderful in our darkest hour & have been there to help through a crisis we had a few years ago, they have been super supportive & helpful & I highly recommend them for fuel supply. I will be having a huge "garage sale" on Tuesday 16th July & possibly some days to follow over next week, so if you're looking for a bargain, come in and see me, I will be selling anything & everything! (Except my dog ;-) ) I will try and post some pictures & prices of things that will be on offer over the next few days so keep an eye out. 23.01.2022 Congratulations Will Bazely, it's been a pleasure to deal with you and see what you've done with the shop. We wish you and Red all the best - it's a huge relief to know fuel is back in Clifton! Check out the face book page everyone! I will be continuing as "MNJ Services" and hoping to take my Road Worthy Licence mobile. I'll put posts up to keep everyone informed but for now I really wanted to celebrate Will getting fuel back! 23.01.2022 ***OPEN FOR MOBILE ROADWORTHY INSPECTIONS*** I am making myself available for mobile Road Worthy Inspections from Clifton to Warwick again. I just ask a few things though.... *Please keep in mind COVID19 restrictions with regard to social distancing & common sense. If you are not well or you have returned from being away please do not ask me to attend.... *Please DO NOT ask me to come and inspect a vehicle that is not ready to be inspected. I am continually asked to inspect vehicles that are not ready in hope that I will issue a certificate. *Please do not ask for IOU or an account - my inspection requires payment in cash there and then. It is $100 for me to come and do an inspection which includes travel on top of the standard fee. This will give you 2 weeks or 2000km to have your vehicle ready for a re-inspection if it fails it's first inspection. *Please also keep in mind I am not available 24/7. I am trying to balance just as many things as everyone else in the current circumstances but I will try & get back to you ASAP. 22.01.2022 To keep everyone in the loop, we are currently processing the sale of the garage. Please don't message about this, it is yet to be finalised but I just wanted to update everyone as promised. I'll be sure to notify the community of Clifton through the "Clifton Courier" and here on the Facebook page as soon as things are confirmed. Fingers crossed the town won't be without fuel for much longer. It's in the hands of the paperwork God's. Stay tuned!

09.01.2022 Now the shop in Clifton is no longer ours, we have decided to make some changes to our family business. We will mainly operate under our Company name: MNJ SERVICES PTY LTD to eliminate any confusion with the Clifton location. Mick is still working on a Fly In/Fly Out roster on a mine & I am now doing Mobile Road Worthy Inspections on Light Vehicles (Passenger vehicles) and trailers 0.75 - 3.5Tonne ATM. (Boat, car and box trailers and horse floats). We are able to still do so...me mechanical & auto electrical repairs as well as regular car servicing as we have most of the equipment from the workshop still. Please phone to make a booking for a mobile RWC or to bring your car or trailer to us. Work & visits strictly by appointment only and I am only able to work school hours (9am to 2pm) when Mick is away. I often don't get messages via Facebook for the business, so please call if you don't get a response, but only during the week from 9am - 2pm.
