11.01.2022 Check it out there will be some disruption for members and visitors from this week as we launch two projects at the same time one to provide shade for the whole Blair St carpark and the other, big ticket item, to install a massive solar power system on top of the shade sails and the main club building as well. It’s a big job and will take until May next year spread around the Christmas-New Year season and the televised Bowls Premier League. But when it’s finished it wil...l save the club $250,000 a year, ensure we are never affected by future blackouts, and should save us a minimum $6.4 million long-term. It’s an exciting project, a major investment by the club and a winner for everyone including the environment; as 40 per cent of our power will be renewable energy, not coal-fired; and will be saving the atmosphere thousands of tonnes of CO2. Our AGM is scheduled for 7.30pm, Tuesday 24th November 2020 at The Greens, Moama Bowling Club, 6 Shaw St Moama.... MEETING LOCATION: Due to current social distancing conditions, this year’s AGM will be held in The Greens. RSVP: It would be great if you could please advise of your attendance for catering and seating purposes. CAR PARKING: Due to works being undertaken, The Greens car park will be closed for public access on this date, but surrounding car parks, including a temporary car par set in the decommissioned bowling greens off Shaw St will be available for use.
