25.01.2022 Some big news at the MCC! Mitch McMullan has been appointed senior coach for season 2020/21. A young guy who has played some excellent cricket in Geelong the la...st few seasons. A great cricket brain who is very keen to work with all players and the kids coming through. Exciting times! Our new rooms will be complete in the next 3weeks and ALSO brand new 7m high scoreboard will be up and finished by the end of June (it’s big!). Bring on season 20/21!!! 23.01.2022 Great to see so many already registered for the current season! As we finalise team numbers this week to confirm to the league, we are asking everyone who intends to play junior cricket this season to please register asap. https://www.playcricket.com.au/ If you are having any issues with registering, please ask one of the coaches at training, or touch base with Cate on 0430 148 198. Finally, a reminder to ensure you sign in at training each week and follow the Covid-19 protoc...ols of sanitising and not sharing equipment. A reminder the 2020-21 season commences as follows: U12 Wednesday 4th November U14 Thursday 5th November U16 Friday 6th November

23.01.2022 Juniors (U12/U14/U16) will train again this Thursday at 4pm. Please bring your own kid/gear, drink bottle and preferably your own cricket ball (put your name on it). All players must sign in before entering the nets area or commencing training. Any parents wanting to wait around and watch from a distance are also required to sign in.... A reminder to please register to play as soon as possible so we can finalise our team numbers. If you are having any issues doing this, please contact Cate on 0430 148 198. A big thank-you to those who have signed up already!

21.01.2022 JUNIOR PRESENTATION EVENING Wed 11 March 2020 As the junior cricket season wraps up next week, we invite you all to join us on Wednesday 11th March at Rich River Golf Club for the annual Junior Presentation Evening. Presentations to commence 7pm sharp. RRGC has been a generous sponsor of the Club for a long time, so we encourage families to arrive early for dinner prior to the presentations. Wednesday night is the ‘All you can eat’ Buffet - which includes dessert. Bistro open...s at 5.30pm. Looking forward to seeing all families on the night! Any queries, call Cate 0430 148 198.

21.01.2022 Training for U16’s players this Saturday at 10.30am. Training for all junior players (U16/U14/U12) this Sunday at 11am. More info will be provided during the week.... All players to bring their own kit and preferably cricket ball. All player will be required to sign in at training and follow Covid-19 protocols.

20.01.2022 U12 training will move to 4.30pm on Monday’s commencing this week.

20.01.2022 MCC AGM will be on Monday 29th June 2020 at 7pm in the new rooms. All welcome and encouraged to come along. Covid restrictions will apply.

05.01.2022 U12/U14/U16 TRAINING CANCELLED Unfortunately, due to last nights rain, the nets and oval will be too wet to hold training this morning at 11am, therefor the session is cancelled. Training Is rescheduled for 4pm this Thursday.... In the meantime, please do jump onto PlayCricket ASAP to register to play this season for Moama Junior CC so we can start planning for team numbers!

05.01.2022 GMC has let us know all U12’s cricket has been called off today due to wet playing surfaces and alerts of severe thunderstorms in the area.

04.01.2022 Registrations are still open for our Junior and master Blasters https://www.playcricket.com.au/club-finder/club-details Junior blasters start this Sunday 10am on the main oval. Please arrive at 9.45am for check in. Master Blasters don’t start until Sunday November 8th due to being a Victorian competition unfortunately. We will though be having a game amongst ourselves on the morning of Sunday 1st November on the main oval. More information to come.
