23.01.2022 A massive shout out to our wonderful volunteers each week. You are the true super stars of our Parkrun fam. Without you we cannot continue to have such a fantastic time week in, week out. 12.01.2022 The conditions were perfect this morning down at Moana, with a very slight chill to start but the sun showing it’s face just in time to warm up some chilly volunteers. Lots of happy runners were rewarded for their efforts with puppy pats at the finish line! Another great parkrun at Moana! See you all again next week This week 60 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 13 were first timers and 9 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 6 different clubs too...k part. The male record is held by Paul Francis MULHOLLAND who recorded a time of 16:07 on 30th March 2019 (event number 51). The female record is held by Ciara FOSTER who recorded a time of 19:31 on 22nd June 2019 (event number 63). The Age Grade course record is held by Maureen WRIGHT who recorded 95.39% (24:58) on 3rd April 2021 (event number 120). Moana parkrun started on 21st April 2018. Since then 1,731 participants have completed 7,756 parkruns covering a total distance of 38,780 km, including 1,437 new Personal Bests. A total of 208 individuals have volunteered 1,020 times.
