12.01.2022 Cracker night will descend on us soon (1/7/21) Our animals were given a reprieve last year due to Covid but this year it will be on again (we understand). Our a...nimals have had a lovely quiet time during the dry and the sudden and very violent noises made by crackers will send a lot into panic. PLEASE make provision for your animals on cracker night. If you know your animal does not cope with sudden loud noises (thunder, crackers) please get somebody to stay with the animal if you are going out. Other options are a thunder jacket, valium (vets will prescribe), keeping your animal in as noise proof room as possible and give him somewhere to hide. Some people make a sort of cave out of mattresses. There is lots of stuff on the internet but here is one good leaflet. file:///C:/Users/Naomi/Downloads/Fireworks%20frighten%20animals%20-%20Help%20them%20feel%20safe%20(PDF%20627KB).pdf Typically heaps of animals go missing on cracker night so make sure your pet is microchipped with your details updated and make sure he/she is wearing a collar with your phone # on it. 10.01.2022 So sad to hear I won't be seeing this happy face again. Over the years Eddie was a regular pampered pup and suddenly taken ill, has left us due to a tumor on his spleen. Another piece of my heart, will miss you Thinking of your loving family Rebecca McDowall

09.01.2022 Not just for the holiday season but all year round

07.01.2022 $29 Adoption Fees We have 14 beautiful purr-fect kitties remaining in the cattery looking for much needed homes. All are happy & healthy, desexed, microchipp...ed, vaccinated and up to date with parasite control thanks to Advantage Petcare. Due to these beautiful kitties still waiting for forever homes, we are unable to accept anymore council & surrender cats into care because of the limited space. Tag your friends, family, co-workers and help these guys find much needed homes! Share this post and help us help them and many more in need of care. All of these cats have either recovered from cat flu or have been exposed to it. Don't freak out, this only affects cats and no other animals. Cat flu shows up in cats like the human flu, we get watery eye, snotty noses and sneeze. Just because they carry the virus doesn't not mean they are always unwell, it can come and go like humans getting a cold. Cats are more likely to show these signs when in a stressed environment, which is why a home environment is a much better place for them. Many cats can go years without showing any signs and generally recover by themselves with time and rest like humans. Please spread the word and help these cats find forever homes! #adoptdontshop
