25.01.2022 My friend’s beautiful English staffies Remi and Dallas. Lovely dogs to wash, and gorgeous personalities. Just letting everyone know, I’m fully booked through to Xmas but can still put bookings on cancellation list, in case they come up. Otherwise, other than Xmas and new year long weekend, I’m working as usual after Xmas so can book spots for then as well. Give your pooches a pat for me and enjoy your Sunday.

24.01.2022 5 days lockdown. Let’s just hope it’s just 5 days this time. I’ve rescheduled 4 days worth of bookings to an already fully booked diary so my next availability is early to mid March sometime. For those who do not have an on going booking, I would suggest booking in now to secure a spot. If lockdown extends beyond 5 days, it goes without saying that availabilities are pushed further out. Meanwhile, stay safe and healthy everyone. Photo for attention. Yogi bear.

23.01.2022 Due to the 7 day lockdown announced by government, I won’t be able to provide any services during this period. Once it is clear when lockdown will be lifted, I will be in contact with those who has appointments within the affected period to reschedule your appointments. I hope everyone stay safe, get vaccinated if you can and take care.

23.01.2022 Sookie can’t keep her tongue in! Wishing everyone a great Sunday.

22.01.2022 Hi all, just a further update. Current understanding is that dog grooming is only allowed to operate from 26th October onwards. May I request your help to do one of two things, or both. 1. Write to your local MP 2. Sign the petition in the link The petition raised below was what got the attention of channel 9 in last night’s news, and hopefully get enough traction to reopen grooming earlier. Thank you. ... https://www.change.org/p/daniel-andrews-reopen-dog-grooming

21.01.2022 Just wanting to keep in touch and say hi to everyone and hope you’re keeping safe and healthy. How are your pooches doing? Feel free to post a photo in comments. I’ll start first.

20.01.2022 Dolly is absolutely adorable. Anyone want to guess what breed she is? Feels great back to mobile grooming again this week, but my body is aching like I’ve been to the gym everyday! So many muscles I forgot about during the lockdown, the only one I remember is my bum muscle from sitting too much and biceps from putting food in my mouth while watching TV. Just to let everyone know space are super duper limited leading to December (Xmas) so for those who have not booked yet, p...lease leave me a message or text me on 0491149560. I have more spaces from mid November to early December, other than that almost fully booked. Thank you for your support and have a great Sunday everyone!

19.01.2022 Hardly have time to stop to take photos anymore. But I couldn’t resist taking Charlie. He looks like my boy Hershey. Happy Sunday everyone.

18.01.2022 Hi all, just another update. Please see info from DHHS website. Mobile grooming only allowed when metropolitan Melbourne moves into Third step. So when is Third step? The timing is subject to meeting trigger points and public health advise. So the date of when mobile grooming can start operating is not fixed yet until we are advised accordingly. Nearing that time when we know the date, I will again do my utmost best to get in contact with everyone and reschedule your appoin...tments based on the growing waiting list. As it is already a very stressful and frustrating time for everyone, may I please ask for your understanding that out of fairness, I will need to prioritise based on the waiting list. Thank you for your on going support. Stay safe and we’re getting really close.

17.01.2022 Apparently, toilet paper is a hot commodity everytime lockdown comes around. Best to get Hershey to guard it. Stay safe everyone. Disclaimer: no additional toilet paper was purchased for this photo.

16.01.2022 Hi all, Based on today’s Dan Andrews update, only fixed venue sites are able to operate from the 28th September, but not mobile. Blue wheelers and most in the mobile grooming community are still working with the government to also allow mobile to operate from the 28th September. In the meantime, I’m also trying to work on establishing grooming from home for the time being from the 28th September until 29th October with Covid safe plan and contactless drop off and pick up. Either way, I will advise again early next week. Thank you for your support and continue to stay safe. Happy weekend.

15.01.2022 Playing with puppies all day...I’m puppyfied. Daisy, Archie and Zola. And these are just some of them. I’m happy but exhausted!!

14.01.2022 Freedom update Hi All, Judging from the non-stop text messages that I’ve been receiving, I’m sure most of you will know by now from Dan Andrews announcement that mobile dog grooming can start operating from 11:59pm tonight onwards. Obviously, I will be asleep at 11:59pm, however, I will start operating mobile grooming again from tomorrow morning. My diary is filling up unbelievably fast. As it will be super busy for me, I will endeavour to return your calls and text messages... as promptly as I can. I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all my customers throughout this lockdown who have been concerned for not only their doggies welfare, but also sending me well wishes and support. I truly value your support and it has helped me tremendously to get through this lockdown. Covid safe practises remains important (mask, non-contact handover of dogs) so let’s continue to stay safe and looking forward to seeing you and your special furry babies.

14.01.2022 Hi all, I hope everyone is enjoying the lovely sunny weather that we are having right now, perfect time to bring your poochies for a walk or run. I’m sure most of you know by now that the stage 4 restrictions have been extended by another 2 weeks. So this means that at the very earliest, subject to the Covid infection numbers meeting target, I may be able to start grooming again from the 28th september onwards. That date of course is tentative at this stage, so will need to w...ait until the government confirms stage 4 end of lockdown date. Until then, if there is a health related issue due to your dog not being groomed, may I suggest you do the following: 1. Contact your vet to do emergency grooming. 2. Send email to your local MP outlining the issue you are facing and to lobby for grooming to be open. In this case, please contact Kim Wells. [email protected] I will keep you updated as I have more information to share. Until then, stay safe and take care. Know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.

12.01.2022 Quick question to my esteem customers here. Do you know of any vacant shops currently available within 5 km of Rowville Wellington village location that I could park my trailer at the back to wash dogs and I can groom in the shop? Must have water and electricity supply. I’m happy to pay reasonable weekly rent until I’m mobile again. Thank you for your attention and appreciate any leads.

09.01.2022 Bought this for my daughter. I especially like the Bichon frise. Have a lovely Sunday everyone.

07.01.2022 Gabby....say cheese!

06.01.2022 I posted this photo on my personal Facebook page 5 years ago, and I got a memory reminder today. My Hershey does look like chewbacca, don’t you think? Lol.

06.01.2022 What a nice cooler wet morning we’re having, much needed after a few warmer days. At least we’re not experiencing the heatwave some other parts of Australia is facing currently. Well, not yet anyway but rest assured, we will see those 40+ deg days very soon. Whatever it is, Monty is ready with his summer clip. Enjoy your Sunday folks.

05.01.2022 Bowie has lovely eyes. Have a great ANZAC Sunday everyone.

04.01.2022 This is my life in lockdown, watching TV with Hershey on my lap. Just an update to let everyone know that we’re still monitoring the situation closely and with the infection numbers continuing to fall, I’m hoping work restrictions will be eased sooner. I will get in contact with everyone before the end of this week with my next course of action. Continue to stay safe and have a pleasant week ahead.

03.01.2022 This was on 3AW today with Neil Mitchell. May I suggest a few things: 1. Probably not a good idea to trim your dogs with clippers or scissors if you’ve never done it before, it is quite easy to injure your dog, as the vet who called in 3AW said. 2. By all means, continue to brush and comb out your dogs to minimise matts or knots especially around ears, under arm pits, back legs near bum and thigh area. Comb out entire body if your dog wears a jacket or harness as the rubbing... motion of jacket or harness against fur will definitely cause knots. 3. As customers and pet owners, call these radio stations to lobby to the government that pet grooming should be made essential, hopefully the more people bring this up, then maybe goverment will amend their rules. Otherwise we may have to wait the entire 6 weeks to mid September, or even worse, longer than that, as was suggested by Dan Andrews during his daily updates, if number of tests are not enough. Anyway, as always, stay safe. https://omny.fm//vets-urgent-plea-for-pet-grooming-to-be-a

02.01.2022 Just an update. We’re still lobbying the government to have mobile grooming start on the 28th September, alongside fixed venue sites. I’m hopeful we might have some positive news this week. To strengthen our plea to the government, I am seeking your help once again to sign another petition as below. I’m truly grateful and appreciative to all my customers who have thus far not only provided their voice and support for the welfare of your furry friends, but also the welfare of... the groomers in the industry. Thank you so much and let’s hope this is over soon. https://www.change.org/p/daniel-andrews-allow-mobile-and-ho

01.01.2022 Gorgeous Chloe. The Shetland Sheepdog is a breed that originated from the Shetland islands of Scotland, and as the name suggest is primarily used for herding sheeps. Very loveable natured dogs. Happy Sunday everyone.
