20.01.2022 Horse have a long mane? Horse have a long thick mane? Don’t want to cut it? I’ve had a lot of practice of late on the great pony- Beau! ... We plait the night before- and with trouble keeping conventional rosettes in- this method has been a huge success- (the rosette sitting up- will settle over night w the Lyra hood on) Have to say- He looks the treat! Happy to do other horses- $55 for mane- plus small travel fee.

10.01.2022 I often talk clients out of sedating their horse when I am clipping. I take the time with the horse and try my best to make it a pleasant experience for all involved- Sometimes, owners prefer their horses sedated- If you are one of those owners, I suggest you time having your horses teeth done the same time you book a clip- ... The horse can have their teeth done and then I can begin the clip whilst the horse is still sleepy! I don’t encourage sedating,I personally will not give sedation (that’s best left to the vets)- but if you are concerned about how your horse will react- just book your clip in,the same time as the teeth! My clippers are quieter than most and we have a good track record! Albert (pictured) has never been an easy horse to treat, he ‘has’ in the past had trust issues with vets! He’s so big sedation just never made any difference- until last month! Finally Albert had his teeth done! I didn’t clip him! Funnily- he has always been an easy horse to clip

10.01.2022 Dear Archie is going to be way cooler after having his coat removed! Archie is clipped using a Size 5 and Size 7 blade- We don’t want his coat so short his skin will burn- ... His family love the beach and spend many hours there- Clipping Archie will mean he won’t collect as much sand, will dry quicker and stay cooler! Win:Win
09.01.2022 Flynn! 5 year old Warmblood! First Clip! Say what? ... Not a care in the world for this dear boy! Didn’t flinch when the clippers were turned on, or when we started clipping. Flynn was also super clean- making this visit a real pleasure!
07.01.2022 Mr Wilson! Mr Wilson came to visit us for a day of pampering! Full body Wash with Hot Wash, Tail and Main given a special treatment and then an Equissage whilst he dried under cosy rugs! ... Wilson was then clipped and given his lunch in a safe paddock until his owners picked him up after their busy day! Wilson is sporting a ‘Blanket Clip’- this clip offers good body coverage for his afternoon trail rides and clipped where he sweats up most. This clip means, Wilson can be put back in his paddock after his ride without a long, thick, sweaty coat!
