08.01.2022 PPSR - $2 A sad story , a customer of mine purchased this Honda CB125E from a private seller in Lismore, the bike has been dropped and he proceeded to make the ...necessary repairs so he could use it on the road. After fixing the broken parts, he obtained a RWC , when he took the bike to Qld Transport, they informed him that his CB125e was deemed a stat write off and as such, could not be registered. A PPSR certificate searches the Personal Properties Security Register and only costs $2, the certificate provides you with some really important information which includes if the vehicle has any security interest on it , ie money owing, also it will tell you if the vehicle is a repairable or statutory write off and also if the vehicle is stolen. I cannot reiterate how important a PPSR is when buying a car or motorcycle, go to https://www.ppsr.gov.au for more information, best of all it only costs $2 to complete. Chris
