15.01.2022 Sunday 29th March 2020 Hi everyone In light of the current Corona Virus pandemic, and its impact on Tasmania, we have made the difficult decision to cease our on-road activities from today onwards, until things change for the better. In essence, this means there will be NO Mobile Saddler runs happening for the foreseeable future. ... To continue our runs means we would be taking a double risk both to us, and also to you, our amazing clients. As far as we know, we are both healthy, but if we were to unknowingly come into contact with the virus in some way, it is possible that we could transfer the virus from one client or property to another, and also from one part of Tasmania to another. The risk to others, and to us, is just not worth it right now. On top of this, Rick has a broken foot, which means he will be out of action (no driving, no using our sewing machines, no walking, and no heavy lifting) for at least six months, and possibly longer. We realise that there are some people who may be inconvenienced by our decision and hope you will understand it was not an easy decision to make. We are not closing down the business; just taking a break from adding to the number of people moving around within our beautiful state in this time of crisis for so many of you. If anyone has any small repairs that can be sent to us by Australia Post, we might be able to help. We could also continue to offer a limited repair service to anyone who is able to bring their repairs to us. HOWEVER, it is essential that BEFORE sending anything to us, and BEFORE you visit our property you contact us by phone (03 6254 6196), email ([email protected]) or through Facebook Messaging first; so that we can make appropriate arrangements with you, and also in the event that we have had to make further changes. We would like to thank all of our amazing clients for your support over so many years, and for the friendship and love we share with so many of you. We will continue to maintain our Facebook page and our website so that we can keep you all updated as things change. We both wish every one of you the very best in this difficult time. Please look out for each other, and keep in touch with those you care for especially those living on their own. A phone call or message doesn’t take long and might make all the difference to someone who is feeling isolated and maybe not coping.
