17.01.2022 This timber has amazed me. A deep redish crimson when first cut, the next morning it had changed in to a pinkish red. In the Kiln now.

16.01.2022 This lot was also destined for firewood until we were alerted by an arborist. A total of 7 tonnes in 4 logs. Now awaiting milling to customer requirements. Slabs up to 1m wide will come out of these old dears.

08.01.2022 A sawmiller's nightmare in Woodend. An old nail buried deep in the core of a large log. Probably someone's simple hanging device 30 years ago. Dang thing sheared all 5 teeth off the blade. Anyone know a good saw doctor?
