23.01.2022 Today we celebrate Mobo Group’s CEO Andrew Ramsey! 5 years ago today Andrew was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Hands On SA and committed himself to helping people living with disability to become the best they can be. Throughout these 5 years, he has successfully merged together two disability services (Hands On SA and Finding Workable Solutions) to launch Mobo Group with a new purpose, vision, and driving values. Andrew’s positive attitude, determination and perse...verance has been instrumental in changing many lives for the better. Mobo Group thank Andrew for his commitment and the opportunity to work with a passionate, caring and funny CEO who has an outstanding knowledge of ‘dad jokes’. Thank you Andrew for the past 5 years, and here’s to celebrating many more.

20.01.2022 Today is Remembrance Day, commemorating when the guns fell silent on the Western Front at 11am on the 11th November 1918, marking the end of the Great War. Today, we paused to remember the suffering and loss of all wars, as well as acknowledge the courage and achievements of those men and women who continue to serve our country. Lest we forget.

16.01.2022 Meet Adam Last week, Adam was trained to use the flow wrapping machine on a super 'cool' job (wrapping icy poles!) With support from our supervisors, Adam was able to develop new skills and learn new tasks which help to further his work capabilities to be the best he can be.... We can't wait to see what goals and skills Adam builds next!

10.01.2022 COVID-19 Lockdown Update To All in the Mobo Group Community, I want to start by thanking all employees at Mobo Group for their support and response to the lockdown directives issued by the South Australian Government yesterday.... It is vitally important that we all act responsibly and contribute to the turnaround of the rise in COVID-19 cases which is occurring. There are no changes to the communication and plan sent out yesterday with regard to our site operations. We will continue as we did today, to process food products destined for supermarkets, and supplies into the medical sector in the coming days. We do this with a restricted workforce who are working under strict COVID-19 management guidelines ensuring the safety of themselves and their families. Thank you to everyone in the community for their disciplined efforts in staying locked down and by doing so contributing to the welfare of all South Australians. Stay safe and well. 08.01.2022 Congratulations Genelle Genelle is one of our incredible employees at Oakden, and she has been awarded a Certificate of Achievement at Flinders University studying ‘Perspectives on Disability and Rehabilitation’. Genelle is a part of the Up The Hill Project, which enables people who are living with a disability to attend university, experience the culture, and complete course classes with a mentor who helps guide the students through the course. ... This program promotes inclusion and personal development, which is evident in Genelle’s growth at work and her continual learning and awareness of other disabilities. We look forward to continuing to watch Genelle’s grow and to seeing her graduate from university in two years’ time.

04.01.2022 Tri State Games Last week several of our incredible employees from our Mount Barker site participated in the Tri State Games in Port Adelaide! The Tri State games are a week long sporting event and fun competition for people living with disabilities that occurs every 2 years. ... This year, the national competition was unfortunately cancelled due to COVID-19. However, the excitement of the games continued on as a competition was held with only South Australian participants. Our incredible employees from Mobo Group who participated in the SA one day event last week did amazing, with many medals won! We are very proud of all who participated in events such as walking, running, bean bag throw, tennis ball throw and discus throw, and getting out into the sunshine to compete! Congratulations Simon, Michael, Scott, Ben and Trent!
