It feels very weird to not be rushing around and making hundreds of sweet treats for today. Here are photos of last year’s festival. 05.01.2022 We have a new flavour - crushed roasted peanuts and coconut filling. First time I ate this was over 25 yrs ago when my Taiwanese friend gave me a sample and I really enjoyed it. It has since been requested by many, particularly by people who grew up with this flavour profile. $3.50 each.

02.01.2022 It’s persimmon season and if you have persimmons that are getting really soft and don’t know what to do with, try making a persimmon pudding. It is so warming and tasty. With lots of spices, it tastes like a lot like gingerbread or sticky date pudding.
