24.01.2022 Note from the President I trust all our members / families are all safe and well. We have all been in isolation and disconnected from each other for some time, so I thought we would provide you with some information around recent club activities.... 1. The Mustang Car Lottery has been successfully drawn. All winners have been notified and a public information notification published in the Australian News Paper. Due to privacy laws, we are not permitted to reveal the names of the winners, however I can proudly say that the Roush will be staying in Adelaide, so keep an eye out for it on our roads in the coming weeks. 2. We have been asked by some members Can I drive my Classic Mustang during the Coronavirus Lockdown Our research shows, there is no restriction on you driving your classic car, however you are legally required to meet Government regulations, and abide by the Covid-19 criteria of essential travel. So, you can take your Mustang down to do the Grocery Shopping. Cruising the Adelaide Hills may draw attention and not meet the guidelines of essential travel. 3. We are receiving calls from members regarding the clubs’ position in relation to log book renewals. Membership and log book renewals are due in July, If the current lockdowns remain in place, we will contact our members and ask them to; a. Mail in their log books to PO BOX 210 North Adelaide SA 5006 b. Enclose a copy of your membership & log book renewal receipt, payment can be made to the club via EFT c. Enclose a copy of your current vehicle registration certificate(s) for each log book d. Once received the club will stamp your log books & return via post 4. Social Events All events as you already know have been cancelled up to our next scheduled club meeting set down for 20th May 20. In the coming weeks, we will be better placed to provide details on whether we can hold this meeting and plan for future club runs. 13.01.2022 The Mustang Owners Club Australia (MOCA) and the Leukaemia Foundation would like to congratulate all prize winners and thank the Australian community for participating in the Car Lottery. Due to Federal Government restrictions on crowd gatherings, the draw was conducted on Sunday the 12th of April 2020 at 3.00pm (SA time) behind closed doors. Winners were notified immediately after the draw and the winning ticket numbers will be published in the Australian Newspaper tomorrow and have also now been published on our website: https://sa.mustang.org.au/car-lottery/
