05.01.2022 Please See update below re new INCREASED restrictions and how it impacts all patrons and members of the Modbury Sporting Club. It is possible there will be some additional restrictions brought in later this week but for now, please only attend the Modbury Sporting Club if you are willing to adhere to the following guidelines: Patrons MUST BE SEATED WHILST EATING OR DRINKING inside or directly outside (including verandah/viewing platform) the club venue itself. ... Food and beverage must be purchased from a service area or similar within the club and then taken to a table and consumed whilst seated. Patrons cannot stand or sit and drink at the bar; Food and beverage can continue to be purchased by spectators at sporting matches (outside), however while all food and non-alcoholic beverages can be consumed while standing (if outside NOTE - the verandah is considered an indoor space), alcoholic beverages must be consumed while seated; social distancing principles must be adhered to at all times, including whilst queuing.

01.01.2022 NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS OF MSC AND THE GENERAL COMMUNITY! Football training is back at Modbury, for some teams, each night this week. However, training has only been allowed to recommence based on the SANFL presenting a clear set of guidelines that are required to be followed to the Department of Health and State Government for approval and these guidelines must be strictly adhered to.... No more than 3 groups of 10 people are allowed on the oval at any given time and no member of any group is permitted to interact with any member of any other group during training or during changeover. Further to this, people are not permitted to congregate in addition to those 3 groups anywhere on the premises. The Sporting Club and entity executives have been working hard to implement strategies to ensure all guidelines are met in order to ensure participation can eventually be rolled out to all members. However, if we are to succeed we require all members and the general public to do the right thing. For those who are lucky enough to return to training this week, please adhere to all guidelines set by your officials and coaches and follow the general concept of Get in, train, get out! For everyone else, please do not attend Modbury facilities whilst group training is on. Even a stray jogger could jeopardise our success at achieving success in phase 2. Thankyou in advance.
