22.01.2022 Twilight Working Bee - Thursday 8th October from 6pm. We are seeking help from our members and supporters/parents this Thursday between 6pm-8pm to clean up our courts and surrounding areas in readiness for season commencement. The more people the quicker we can get things done. Just bring yourself as we have tools/equipment on site. Look forward to seeing you there.

16.01.2022 This isn't great to have to post this, but we've had confirmation from Tennis SA that at this stage it looks like all sports competitions and training are to be suspended as of midnight tonight. Please note, this means all social hits are also suspended so there is to be no use of the courts until further notice. We will keep you posted as we learn more. 15.01.2022 Club Practice Night: Juniors & Seniors combined Thursday's weekly Hi All, We are again combining the club practice night each Thursday from 4pm - 9pm. Courts will be open and lights on as required. This provides a great opportunity to bring the club together as one. Hang around till 7pm, we will have the BBQ going and grab yourself a free sausage sizzle

09.01.2022 Senior Summer Season Teams & Competition Info Hi All, The Seniors season is due to commence 10th October. Please go to our club website link below to find your teams, division and a further link on this page to the EDTA/NETA competition rules, regulations, match centre etc.... https://play.tennis.com.au/ModburyTennisClub/Competitions Some club rules to note: - If scheduled to play home on court 1 you are to man the canteen and cook the sausage sizzle - Be at your match at least 15 minutes before game start time - If there are share courts, please use them for one match then give other teams an opportunity to use it before going again. - If you haven't paid fees, please do so immediately, remember you must have paid before game one to keep your $20 early bird discount Regards MTC Committee

09.01.2022 Training for tennis in winter is difficult when there isn't sufficient lighting. Thankfully, Modbury Tennis Club will receive $143,000 to upgrade their lighti...ng systems, as part of the Marshall Liberal Government's Infrastructure Project Grant Program! This will also benefit Modbury Hawks Netball Club when they move over here very soon. Special shout-out to Bruce Tonkin, who is a brilliant advocate for the club. Congratulations!! Corey Wingard

08.01.2022 Some further great news for our club, this week we received another state government grant to upgrade our complex lighting with new poles and LED's. This has been a joint effort with us and the TTG Council. Keep an eye out for activity commencing in the coming months.

03.01.2022 Due to the weather, we're not going to hold the second Come 'N Try Day tomorrow at the club. We'll be having a working bee in the coming weeks before the season starts so please look out for this and come along to help out (and there is always a free bbq too!!).
